Cog-Faux 3: "Changing Seasons," 50ss tournament in Turku, Finland at 28/05-17

Welcome to “Changing Seasons”, a Malifaux event organised and sponsored by Sotakone Miniatures (www.sotakone.fi), the third in the Cog-Faux-series made to inspire Malifaux-players to play more, think deeper and play better.

You can join the tournament by sending your name, tournament list (see below) and telephone number either to sotakone.miniatures@gmail.com or via PM on Sotavasara to HtUnliving. When you come to the tourney, there a fee of 7€ to cover the tourney prize kit and/or possible other trophies.

 

Main Tournament Rules:

- All Strategies and Schemes are from the Gaining Grounds 2017-set. The schemes for the event will be generated separetly:  hhttp://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/topic/123837-gaining-grounds-2017/ . - The tournament consists of four rounds. At the beginning of every round the TO will provide the rounds Strategies and Schemes on paper for each table. He will then announce the pairings as well as the table number for the pairings. If possible, we will project / write the same information on a bigger board but we cannot guarantee it.

In this tournament crewbuilding is limited. Every participant must before the event deliver a crew-pool list to the tournament organizer (sotakone.miniatures@gmail.com). This list must include either:

- Two masters from one faction, declaring that faction as the one you are playing, or;

- One Master declaring all factions that master is playable in as your faction.

After this you will receive a 100 soulstone pool with which to select your Peons, Minions, Enforcers and Henchmen (this 100 soulstones does not include upgrades or models summoned during the game).

Every game your crew must be selected from the models available in this list, as well as any upgrades you wish to take.

In the list also include your name, your telephone number and if you are participating in only the main tournament or also the Henchman Hardcore.

(We are testing out this format to see if it can help bridge the gap between Malifaux veterans and new players. Please, send us feedback on the format)

 

- All rounds last for 2 hours. The TO will inform when there’s 15 minutes on the clock left. A turn is cancelled immediately when the clock runs out and the VP are counted from that spot.
