Disengaging strikes with plus attacks

If I choose to make a disengaging strike with an attack that has a plus built in, can I flip twice for the disengaging strike?

You perform the duel as normal, so flip as many cards as you normally would. It's only the results that are different, i.e. no damage, triggers etc.

Yes to all of those. A disengaging strike is a free attack action taken in response to a walk. It just has some restrictions on what happens if it succeeds but it is clearly an attack that the model makes.

I would like to raise this issue again and clarify - everything the way it was written? any bonuses to attack work?

Any particular bonus you had in mind? The model is declaring an action so stuff like Brewmasters aura will hinder it and it gets any bonuses to flips or attacks or whatever is affecting it when taking an action uaing whatever stat it is using.
