So this came up in an event over the weekend. Want to confirm that we assumed correctly.
A Shieldbearer is hit with "Whispers from Beyond" from a Hanged, and picks up Glimpse the Inevitable. This condition states "This model may not be healed".
The Shieldbearer then takes lethal damage, triggering her "Chosen" ability, which states "If this model would be killed and it does not have a Soulbound Upgrade attached, it is not killed. It heals all damage and attaches a Soulbound Upgrade ignoring all restrictions, then places a Corpse Marker in base contact with itself."
So now we get into a situation where the Shieldbearer "dies", then is very explicitly not dead, but doesn't get any wounds back. Our assumption is that the model is dead again, since the alternative is a Shieldbearer running around with 0 wounds, which opens a whole other ugly set of possibilities I don't want to get into.
