Battlefield Hobbies are supporting a number of tournaments at the event, and amongst them I've been asked to run a Malifaux tournament. The event takes place from 25-28th August at Telford International Centre. http://strategygamecon.com/ The Malifaux tournament will be on the Saturday. To keep things simple this will be a straight forward 50SS fixed faction ranked event with 3 rounds. Books 1-3 models & Upgrades only. Tickets are £15 including a 24 hour pass to the event. One feature of this event is that it is open for 24 hour gaming, so post tournament, and a meal, we can return for board & card games until late. Open to suggestions. I'm trying to get numbers from the show organisers, but nowt yet so relying on people posting on here or on the facebook event. I'm bring up one of my local players, Rikk has his ticket and I'm expecting carloads from Wrexham, Telford, Lichfield, Norfolk and Northampton so a target of 16 is reasonable. Ticket sales are slow and the organisers/sponsors are rather worried that the Malifaux event won't be viable. So let's show that UK can support 2 good events on the same day (Shaunie's is soldout) and see if we can reach my target of 16 players. Confirmed/interested list added to first post.
