I'm just starting so I'm going to take baby steps with her. What is the best faction to run to have the most females and kick some butt, win/lose and have a good game? She does enjoy Blood Bowl. Outcasts have Misaki, basically a ninja with a spear. The Victoria's who are bounty hunters and some of the deadliest masters in the game backed up by riot grrls called Ronin. If she likes the roller derby grrl aesthetic she might like them. Tara which has some wacky Cthulhu inspired type rules. Arcanists Have Colette a stage magician and burlesque performer with her troupe of show girls. Really powerful crew amoung the best in the game. Rasputina, who is an ice witch in control of the canible cult of December. Ironsides, an enforcer and fisticuffs brawler for the Union. Mei Feng, a cruel and vicious Kung fu fighter in control of the rail crews of Malifaux. And Kaeris, a flame based caster with mechanical wings who works for the Union as a troubleshooter. Guild have Lady Justice, the head of the deathmarshals who hunt down rogue necromancers. She hits amoung the hardest of all models in the game. Perdita Ortega, head of the Guild's monster hunting division. Amoung the best ranged attackers in the game. Sonia Crid, the head of the Witch hunters of the guild, a flame based multi blaster caster. SpiralngCadavr Posted June 18, 2016 Report Share Posted June 18, 2016 Resurrectionists have Molly, who runs with belles and summons a wide variety of others, who I think is one of the better female characters with a pretty distinct theme. They also have Kirai (spirit summoner) and tara (time specialist and horror summoner under the right conditions, and my personal favorite) so actually the three ladies there have quite a bit of overlap, though there're not a ton of female models in the faction. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gnomezilla Posted June 18, 2016 Report Share Posted June 18, 2016 It's worth mentioning how much I've overheard 'and my girlfriend got into this game and picked Seamus'. Which I still kind of struggle to understand. I guess the pretty dresses override the fluff that the rotten belles are zombie whores and Seamus murdered and reanimated them all. Ok maybe the game play is kind of easy to learn too. Belles lure one model closer and pounce on it for attacks that do not cost them AP, Madame Sybelle whips them for interesting triggered effects (whip! you can't score, whip! I command your model, whip! pay now or die), Seamus just teleports around and shoots things very hard (and he is a very good way to teach about the good use of the focus action) (stupid red joker on damage two turns in a row). It is a good powered box, everything in it works well, if the worst happens and she does not like it someone will always happily buy it from you. I have little snips of battle reports written out too. It mostly has my master behaving very stupidly because he got lured. Who needs to stay very close together with his giant stompybot steampunk robots, and suffers a lot from having belles lure all his crew away from each other. Not a good match-up against Seamus as far as gameplay goes. I have learned a lot about how to make sure severe terrain is between Hoffman's construct bubble and the belles. Henchman (spectating): You see, he's a bit of a nerd, he doesn't really have a lot of experience talking to women... Seamus' player (a girl): Which is why I give him lots of chances to practice! Hoffman's player (also a girl): I don't think any amount of practice is going to help. Seamus' player: ...and you have been undressed. Hoffman's player: HEY GIRLS, LOOK AT MY MACHINERY! You have masters: Colette, Ironsudes, Rasputina, Karris, and Mei Feng. Then for your actual list you have December Acolytes, Silent Ones, Snow Storm, Myranda, all of the showgirls, the lady Gunsmith, the Mechanical Rider, Johanna (limited edition), and a whole host of gender neutral beasts and machines. I probably missed a few ladies as well. I'm not sure any other faction can really pull off a complete lady list very easily without conversions.
