It's a solid deal regardless, and the models aren't available elsewhere, but without factoring in the cards and measuring tapes, it's not a gangbusters good deal. I think the minions have some very nice options in particular, and a sniper's a sniper. The other three aren't inspiring to me, but that doesn't mean they're a waste. 2- you don't really. They provide updates for 1st edition models and all the generic upgrade options. If you're only getting current models, then they'll come with correct cards, and you can either photocopy the generic upgrades from the book or get the deck that's all the generic upgrades.
