End of July 35 stone set list tournament designed for new players - 3 games - winner takes away a crew box - only players who have not taken part in a 2.0 tournament qualify to enter - players may borrow a crew or use their own. We're presently running a poll on the Auckland Malifaux League page to decide what the next two tournaments will be, however so far it looks something like this End of August - Story mode tournament - every board will have a set story and set crews for two opposing masters - each game will have its own story encounter and will include one additional scheme designed for each players master - the master scheme will be in addition to the schemes selected from the pool. October - tag team tournament - set faction - players from the upper half of the NZ rankings will act as Henchmen in a 35/25 Master/Henchmen tag team tournament assisting newer or struggling players who will play the master and 35 stone crew. October is also a celebration of Malifaux NZ's 2 year anniversary so will be looking at making this a large and important event each year - we may consider a two day tournament but there is a suggestion of stealing the idea from overseas where each player brings a Malifaux themed plate. December - the final competitive tournament of the year designed as a last push for ranking which will hopefully allow us to give away prizes end of your for ranking achievements.
