We are looking for people who are happy to volunteer their time to make sure everything goes smoothly. We have a lot of slots available for volunteers. If you volunteer, you're required to show up on time, work your whole shift, be friendly, and be presentable. You'll be asked to wear the t-shirt you're given. If you choose to volunteer, you may sign up for any number of shifts, but be mindful of the need for things like food. Each (non-RPG) shift will have time for a short break. Each volunteer will receive the following: 1 shift = T-shirt and badge (you will be reimbursed via GenCon for a badge you purchased) 2 shifts = $25 booth credit, t-shirt, and badge 3 shifts = $50 booth credit, t-shirt, badge, and goodie bag 4 shifts = $75 booth credit, 2 t-shirts, badge, and bigger goodie bag Additional shifts past 4 = More booth credit, better goodie bag If you're interested, please e-mail me (aaron@wyrd-games.net) with the exact title "GenCon 2016 Volunteer" and include the following information: Full Name E-mail E-mail used in GenCon registration system, if applicable Forum Name T-Shirt Size Slot(s) requested I will be reaching back out to all volunteers closer to the date to confirm that you are still coming and your t-shirt sizes, so please use an e-mail you actually check! Volunteer Slots The slots available are all for a specific volunteering opportunity. If you sign up for a slot, you need to know about the relevant games to that slot (more information can be found at the bottom of this post). Slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Saturday 2:00p - 7:00p - Demo: Darkness Comes Rattling (Event Hall) Responsibilities Demo (DCR) - Must have a strong knowledge of Darkness Comes Rattling, enough to comfortably teach others to play the game.
