dmarkham
I think for this format to reach its full potential, you'd need to invite teams of Stereotypes from around the world, and play 80's pop, whilst showing slowmo shots of people flipping their cards.

Clousseau
What's worrying is that I'd have qualified for this last year! Always up for something new, and this format sounds interesting, especially as I'd enjoy the boardgames I'd be playing after the first knockout phase
Insidiously Mad
Agree with lots of what's been said. Love the idea, needs to be stuff to do once you are eliminated. Heck if getting eliminated meant playing board games with the malifaux community I may be happy to be knocked out Only thing I would say is don't have it too close to Masters/Daffcon as it could hurt attendance that way. But right between them (late feb/early march) could be fantastic.
Thingster
Sounds like a lot of fun, even if I didn't qualify, I'd still be up for hanging out and playing board games.
