So what do people fancy doing? Southend is about a 15 min drive away and has a vast array of restaurants I clouding Chinese buffets or we can stay in Hockley and go for pub grub? if I could get a show of hands from those who want to come that would be great and a choice of location and cuisine that would be epic.. feel free to post on here, Twitter @Snezzley or dm on Facebook (Stuart Snares). cheers folks Pub grub is probably nicer but may be more awkward for getting seats? Not sure. I'm easy with either but everyone who can should come out for a meal the night between. Always ends up being one of the best parts of two day events! Clousseau
Definitely going to the meal. I'm staying over near Basildon, so location isn't critical for me. Are there any plans for evening gaming at the venue? If so somewhere nearby would be better, then we could convene back for some board games or whatever. Foodwise I'm up for anything of a decent quality. What's the local Indian or Chinese like? I know that the pub (Bull) is good, but capacity is limited.
BigHammer
Kai and I will join for the grub, for sure. We'll also be needing a third (unless our Jamie comes last-minute) for our team
MariFaux
Mark, Tim, Josh, Craig and me are in for the meal, wherever that might be.

Ceodoc
I am very sorry but I cannot make the event, I have to stay in Jersey as something has come up. I am gutted as this was going to be my first 'live' Malifaux tournament Apologies again to organisers, especially for the late notice. Tayne
What's the painting minimum/is there one? After yesterday, I'm sorely tempted to get my Gremlins painted this week for it. Also, put me down for the meal as well (Graeme Nicholls). Has a choice been made for where it'll be?

Snezzley
Bribery......... It's a thing!!!! On day one you wil be given your day one score sheet but not know what occurring for day 2! You will also not know your opponent for day 2 until the morning..... UNLESS!?! So bribery is allowed at the English GT, for a £1 donation to WAAC you can see Sunday's sheet, for another £1 you can see whom you'll be facing to either get an advantage or simply gloat over dinner, Twitter, Facebook or to your dear old man back home about how you got the easy draw and are going to smash your opponent. Or or for a one off special price of £1.50 you can learn both!! cakes will also be on sale during the day all going to this great cause so dig deep guys
PanzerHarris
How about for £5 extra we can appeal the draw and get you to swap it round if we're the ones likely to take a battering?

fanteegi
OK boys and girls as I am fairly local to this event I have booked the restaurant. It is a place called East. They are an all you can eat eastern restaurant. We are booked in from 7.30. As there are 19 of us we have a 15% discount on the vill which means it will be around £11 each with no limitations on food or how many times you go back up for a refill on your grub. Drinks are not included in your £11. After the food if people want more drinks there are 2 pubs close by and I will happily escorts people and give directions to those that wish to go to their hotels.
