May be some of you just received them)) It was a pretty interesting models for painting and I also level up my OSL skills I also had to sculpt a blindfold for oldman, because his eyes... well... that was a worst eyes-sculpt I've ever worked with. Popular Post Stark
That friday was so busy and I forgot to upload the second recruiter( This guy was much more difficult than the previous one. I did a huge job with owl on that mini, especially under his coat, sculpt blindfold and repair that tiny-tiny skeletons hand which snap when I tried to clean it up =_= This model takes a lot of time, but I'm very pleased with the result))

Stark
@Viruk Thanks man! Well, I'm finally processed images of my last 2016 work. It's a birthday gift for my best friend, she's crazy about dragons) I spend all my Decembers vacation on it, and I'm pretty happy with a result - it's my best work at the moment. The images are different because the last two made by the owner of dragon)) The model of shadow emissary is outstanding, so like it! klatschi
Hui, very impressive NMM and OSL work here! I somehow constantly fear doing OSL because I fear messing up everything I have been painting before. Thumbs up
Stark
@klatschi Thank you)) About OSL let me quote myself (from this tread. Great work there, by the way) On 12 февраля 2017 г. at 11:09 AM, Stark said: @Phinn You doing well, but you have the same fear which I have, when in first time tried OSL on death marshals) I was looking through a lot of works with OSL before starting. The most difficult thing is to understand where is light on the model and take it into account when painting mini as usual. After that you'll take the mid-color of your future source of light and cover with translucent layers illuminated parts. The farther away from the light source - the more translucent, and vice versa, the closer to the light source - the more solid color. And on the closest spots you can use the bright color. It's depends on how bright the light source you want) For example, in my death marshals flames I used light blue, blue-green and white colors, so the mid-color I used for reflects is blue-green and light blue for the highlights. Here's I quickly marked OSL on your model, as it can be approximately.) It's far from perfect, but I ho[e it'll helpful) And sorry for my english, I hope I was able to explain the main idea))

Stark
Well, hello Wyrdos! I'm missed some fridays, shame to me. But I worked on the most difficult project in my practice (I believe I already said that ). It was very large and interesting project, where I sculpted a lot and explored something new. It took me almost a month, but yesterday everything was done and last layer of varnish was applied! So, today I want to show you some ot my wip photos that have accumulated during this time. @FoeRender Thanks, I'm glad to hear it)) the Guild will be glad to take you back)) ATTENTION! Heavy pics!
