BlindJustice
I've looked at the stickies but I was wondering what people use for crates, fences, and other scatter terrain? Thanks.
SurreyLee
http://www.bendyboards.co.uk/ - do a lovely set of crates. Really easy to put together and look good.
Munindk
I plan on building fences from the thin wooden coffee stirrers you get at Star Bucks and oftet coffee shops.

solkan
The last time I was at WalMart, they had these nicely machined decorative toothpicks that would make nice posts in a fence. Probably a bit nicer than pilfered coffee stirrers. Edit: Diamond L'Elegance toothpicks, pack of 250 for $2. For my scatter terrain, I went plaster crazy and picked up some Hirst Arts molds. The Cavern Accessory mold has boxes, barrels, bags of stuff, a chest, and even a big cask. Edited November 30, 2015 by solkan
Artiee
In the hobby section of a few stores like Walmart, Meijers, Micheals and Hobby Lobby. There is kids craft stuff like Skinny Sticks. They make nice scale sized boards. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Kids-Craft-Skinny-Sticks/19526541 . Hobby Lobby has some unfinished (rough) sticks that will also work.I also use "barrels" from Hobby Lobbyhttp://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-%26-Hobbies/Wood-Crafting/Unfinished-Wood/7-8"-Birch-Mini-Pickle-Barrels/p/20792http://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-%26-Hobbies/Wood-Crafting/Unfinished-Wood/1-1-8"-Birch-Pickle-Barrels/p/23060
