Tapdancer
Sounds great. Thinking of bring the family along the girls would love games and camping. Just have to persuade the wife... . . . . Well, subject to study time-table, the whole clan is coming. Could the organisers give some thought to a "spectator ticket" for the weekend to cover food. Will see if i can get the mother-in-law to cook up a batch of jerk chicken

MariFaux
Paid. In the unlikely case I win I request that 2016 it'll be called "Queens of the North".
Argentbadger
I'm going to be coming. I'll work out details of travel and accommodation and pay accordingly in a while. In the unlikely event that I win, I would like the 2016 version to be called 'Fruit Bats Ate My Homework'.
Big Ned
Done! BTW Paul, I'll be driving past Durham train station so there's a good chance I could pick you up on my way through Saturday morning if you come down via train
Tigerstyle
I'm paid. I can only make the Sunday though so I've just got a Wyrd Warrior ticket.
Argentbadger
Finally bought my ticket so I'm in for both days. Nate - thanks, but I'll be down on the Friday night to enjoy whatever the 'exclusive' gaming scheduled there turns out to be.
Soul Puppet
Long way to go but I'm looking into the possibility of making this.
MariFaux
How is the "Masters of the Proper North" gonna work if there are not that many people? Hopefully we'll get some more last minute (well, last month) sign-ups, but if you deduct 8 from Sunday, not that many players might be left?
PanzerHarris
I was going to ask if 'Masters of the North' is mandatory - even if I do qualify by some miracle, I'd rather play in the standard tournament on Sunday.
ProximoCoal
^ Panzer Harris, Ranking Whore
MariFaux
Well, with 12 people there's not much to get for the rankings. It'll be more a fun weekend away. That is my plan at least.
Big Ned
At current numbers Masters of the Proper North will not be going ahead. It would be just Quest for the Mojo (Sat) And Enforcers of North (Sun)
AnythingBut
How is the "Masters of the Proper North" gonna work if there are not that many people? Hopefully we'll get some more last minute (well, last month) sign-ups, but if you deduct 8 from Sunday, not that many players might be left? Maybe run the Sunday as one single event and the highest placed finisher out of the top 8 from the Saturday event wins the title? That way it guarantees a decent field for Sunday and not two small events? Hopefully this won't matter and people will sign up over the next month but certainly something that needs considering. AnythingBut
^^ See my last post Yeah I hadn't noticed there was a page 2 of the thread when I replied to Maria, saw it after it had gone up! Seems like a sensible solution.
