Good morning all, I can proudly say that with m3e in beta (and looking ever closer to release) that my events are returning. A little later than I would have liked but finding a new venue took a little while. So without further ado I present to you 'A breach in the North' - a 50ss fixed faction event that will take place on April 20th at Element Games in Stockport. I understand that for some this is close to the Welsh GT but I 1) wanted to offer people the chance for some practice and 2) really didn't want to delay an event in the north any longer (it has been about 6 months since the last one in the NW). Tickets are £12.50 and available here, as usual I will have trophies for the winner, best painted and the golden poop will return for the soul that finishes bottom of the pile. As it is close to Easter (I think) there will be an Easter themed gift for everyone. Prize support will be element gift vouchers and potentially some stuff from Wyrd which will be raffled off and any money from raffle tickets will be donated to MIND charity. The event will be ranked. The encounters will be randomly generated one week before the event and will use the schemes and strategies from the m3e BETA rules manual. Space is reserved for up to 24 players and the schedule for the day will be as follows: 9:30-10:00 - Registration/Introduction 10:00-12:30 - Round 1 12:30-13:00 - Lunch/Best painted 13:00-15:30 - Round 2 15:45-18:15 - Round 3 18:30 - Raffle/Awards/Goodbyes The rounds have been set at 2 hours 30 to cater for the BETA nature of m3e as games inevitably may take a little longer with the rules less familiar. I will be posting a rules pack document that will contain all of the information relating to the event. Good day Wyrdos, The fourth Faux at the Forge event has a date and is now up. As always this will be hosted at Stormforge Hobbies and Games in Warrington (Unit 6, Linerva House, Milner Street, Warrington WA5 1AD), there is onsite parking and lunch will be provided (dietary requirements please get in touch with me here or the store through their contact page). The event will be 3 rounds using GG18, fixed faction and 50ss. The results will be submitted to the rankings so if you do not want to be included please let me know at the time. The days schedule will be: 10-10:30 - Registration/welcome10:30-12:45 - Round 112:45-1:15 - Lunch/Best painted vote1:15-3:15 - Round 23:30-5:45 - Round 36 - Awards/raffle and goodbyes Prize support will be provided by Wyrd and there will be trophies for the winner, best painted and the bottom player at a minimum, further awards/trophies will be given out based on numbers etc. The event page on Facebook and the Tickets, there is a reduced ticket price until mid August to entice those early birds. Good day to you all I am running a 50ss fixed faction tournament as Element Games on the 15th of September 2018 The day will kick off at 10am with registration from 9am to 9.50am. It will be 3 rounds of gaining grounds 2018 (starts and schemes to be announced one week before). The entry fee is £10 and prize support will be taken care of courtesy of Element Games. Hi Wyrdo's, Once again it is time to host the next installment of the Faux at the Forge tournament. As always this will be held at Stormforge Hobbies and Games in Warrington (Unit 6, Linerva House, Milner Street, Warrington WA5 1AD) on the 24th of June. There is free parking on site and previously the car park has been reasonably empty on a Sunday, if it is busy there is parking available next to the location that is also free. The event will be a 3 round, fixed faction, 50ss event using the gaining grounds 18 schemes and strategies. The event will be ranked so if you wish to be removed from the rankings please let me know. We will be providing the usual trophies for the tournament winner, best painted, best opponent and a wooden spoon for the loser. Guilders will be provided for each participant. Prizes are in hand and will be revealed closer to the time. Included in the ticket price will be lunch - if you have any dietary requirements please get in touch with myself through here or with the store directly. Proxies are allowed but please run them by me prior to the event or during the registration period on the day of the event. After registration any non-queried proxies will be refused. Plenty of advanced warning for this one, my second event being held at Stormforge games and hobbies. Sunday March 18th, a one day, three game event. Fixed faction, 50ss using GG18. We are limiting this to 16 players, the last one sold out (had some late drop outs) but fully expect this one too as well As per the previous event trophies will be provided for the winner, best painted (this may be crew or individual model TBC) and a spoon for the loser. Food will be provided, any allergies etc. please contact the store. We will be raffling some prizes including an alt. Lazarus, we are hoping to give out guilders but this is entirely dependant on Wyrd's guilder stock situation. There will however be a variety of prizes on offer. The placings will be submitted to the rankings and wave 5 proxies will be considered if OK'd by myself prior to the event. Hi all, As it is a new year it is time for a new league at Stormforge Hobbies and Games in Warrington. The league will last 6 weeks, starts on January 6th/ends February 17th and will include 4 x 50ss GG18 games, 2 x 20ss Henchman Hardcore games and it will end with an enforcer brawl (which is optional but a way to score additional points) on the Saturday or Sunday when the league is due to end. There will be prizes for the those who finish first and second as well as a raffle with tickets earned by a certain criteria (see the Facebook event post for specific details). For the league you can declare two masters from your chosen faction and then a henchman from the box set of one of those two masters (for those crew boxes that do not have a henchman then a thematic will suffice - For example Ryle with Hoffman or Hannah with Von Schill) The league is hosted at Stormforge Hobbies and Games, Unit 6, Linerva House, Warrington, WA5 1AD Link to the Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/events/139182860113245/ See you in the streets of Malifaux

Hi everyone, I'm starting a rapid growth league on Tuesday evenings from 6pm at Wargames Southport starting on the 21st Feb (http://www.wargamesuk.co.uk/). It will use the standard rapid growth rules which can be found here (https://www.wyrd-games.net/s/Organized-Play-Formats-dlxl.zip) except it will run for 8 weeks rather than the standard 4 (each "game week" running over a fortnight) as some people can only make every other week. The scenario's for each week use the gaining grounds 2017 strats and schemes and can be found here : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3zVFpO3eRUlRnk4a1Y1YUYtbk0 Game weeks will be: Week 1: 21st Feb - 6th March Week 2: 7th March - 20th March Week 3: 21st March - 3rd April Week 4: 4th April - 17th April Achievements can be scored each week over a maximum of 2 games as long as one of the games is played on a League night (Tuesday). There will be prize support from myself and the store & the more people we have playing the more prizes there will be. Entry to the league is free but there is a table cost at Wargames of £3.50 per evening (you can play for as long as you want though!). Hi All, Will be running demos and organised play every other Wednesday from Element Games as per previous posts this Wednesday 15th Feb onwards. Will be there from 20:30 myself however others can be there from 19:30 onwards. Will have enough for 4 tables worth of scenery at present.
