The Dragon’s Hoard, located in beautiful Hackettstown, NJ, is proud to sponsor its 1st Malifaux 3rd Edition Tournament of the ReRoaring ‘20s “Put your ‘Faux where your game is! ”, which will be held: Sunday, the 23rd of February 2020. We will begin signups at 10:30am, with games starting at 11am, sharp. The tournament will have a $10 entry fee. The tournament will be 3, 2 hr and 15 min rounds. Single Faction, using GG0, Strategy and Schemes, with pools announced at the beginning of each round. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as a raffle for those which did not place. 5 tickets will be given to those players that sign up before February 15th. The Dragon's Hoard in Hackettstown is proud to present a 5 week Growth League and Tournament! Sign up now, as the league will commence August 25th. Points and prizes will be discussed then, as well. The league's format will be: Week 1 will start at 30 stones, week 2 will be 35 stones, week 3 at 40 stones and week 4 at 45 stones. Mixing it up this month with and Enforcer Brawl!!!! May 20th @11:30am Bring your favorite enforcer and an upgrade for this fast paced slug fest. 4-6 players per board depending on turn out. Enforcers must be a model that you can higher normally (no coryphee duets) and must have an upgrade that they would normally be able to attach (Enforcers cant be leaders, so leader only upgrades are out) We will be following the standard rules for a brawl but if anyone has any questions feel free to post or message me directly. Hey all! Starting Sunday, 9/11/2016 at about 2 pm in Hackettstown, NJ, The Dragons Hoard is proud to be starting its first 6-Week Slow Grow themed league that will be perfect for any players looking to try the game for the first time or simply any players looking to build and paint a new crew over time. Points will be totaled on an achievement point basis, with the top three scores winning prizes. I am hoping for a total of ten players so I can make sure everyone can walk away with something, so please make sure to contact me if you are interested. Arcana Toys, Games and Hobbies in Washington, NJ in its new more spacious location. In its continued support of the growing Malifaux community in the area, a new dedicated gaming area will be created and in house league play will be established. The new league program, R.A.M.S. (Resident Arcana Malifaux Society) will continue in February. With the addition of this dedicated area, games can be played any day of the week that the store is open. The goals of this league is to provide format and structure, reward players for their participation through monthly prizes and increase Malifaux-centric social activities and opportunities for players in the area. R.A.M.S. (Resident Arcana Malifaux Society) will function as the in house league at the Arcana Toys, Games and Hobbies. Each player will be asked to report games for tracking. In addition to tracking game scores, players will be able to earn additional points via a list of achievements. Monthly dues of $10 will be collected, 100% of these dues will be used for the benefit of the local Malifaux gaming community. We will be able to buy mats, terrain, and even use part of the dues to augment the monthly prize support that as your Henchman, I will be providing at the end of each monthly league. Yes, you read that correctly, each month prizes will be given out; as we expand the prizes will grow but let’s be clear, one of the main goals of R.A.M.S. will be to reward the local community for their loyalty and dedication to the game, to this end we very much would like to put out prizes that will undoubtedly be first rate and we have already engaged in conversations with some suppliers in furtherance of that goal. Since we will have our own dedicated space, R.A.M.S. games can be played any day of the week that the store is open and while there will be an incentive for playing different opponents each game, there will be no specific opponent requirement, making it quite possibly the easiest league you will ever participate in. Cost: $10/month - All fees will be used for improving the prize pool as well as the dedicated Malifaux gaming area. League Format - 1 month league recurring. They are located at: 25 E. Coming up for March and April we have a 2 tournament series at The Only Game in Town 211 W Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876 and Maplewood Hobby 1970 Springfield Ave, Maplewood, NJ 07040. On 3/19/16 at Maplewood Hobby 1970 Springfield Ave, Maplewood, NJ we will have a 50ss tourney using the Classic schemes and strategies. Registration at 10am, cards flip at 11am. On 4/23/16 at The Only Game in Town 211 W Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876 we will have a 50ss tourney using the new schemes in the 2016 gaining ground packet. Registration at 10am, cards flip at 11am. $10 entry for each tournament. Malifaux product will be 10% off to tournament participants at each tourney. Both tourneys will have prize support in store credit for 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd place. in addition to the individual store tournament prizes, the person who accrues the most victory points across both tournaments combined will receive a Dark Carnival crew box. Players will register their LGS or Local Gamestore as well when coming to tournaments. The store with the most victory points will receive a trophy to display (can be any store or gaming group, not just Maplewood or TOGIT)... definitely hope to see Nu Brand and the Basement Jacks in attendance.

Announcing Arcana Slow Grow League at Arcana Games on Rt 57 in Washington, New Jersey Don't let December rule over Malifaux. Shake off the Winter blues and come join our club. Build your crew week by week until you can take on the tyrant. There will be a ten dollar registration fee covering prize support. Week 1 March 8 25 SS Henchman led crew Turf War; Murder Protege, Deliver a Message, Protect Territory, Entourage. Week 2 March 15 35 SS Master led crew Reconnoiter; Body Guard, Take Prisoner, Vendetta, Distract. Week 3 March 22 43 SS Master led crew Squatter's Rights; Assassinate, Protect Territory, Spring the Trap, Outflank. Week 4 March 29 50 SS Master led crew Reckoning; Breakthrough, Cursed Object, Frame for Murder, Plant Explosives. Competitors will win 1 point for a game played and 3 points for a victory. Beyond that, additional points may be earned by the following means: 1 point for losing without scoring a victory point 3 points for a win without a leader on the board at games end 1 point for playing someone you have not played before 1 point for singing a victory song or a lamentation dirge 2 points for one new crew member painted each week 3 points for having all models on the board at games end 3 points for winning with a 8 or better point spread 2 points for flipping both the red and black joker in the same duel A painting contest will also be held in Week 4 with prizes for both the best single and best overall crew.
