The Dragon’s Hoard, located in beautiful Hackettstown, NJ, is proud to sponsor its 1st Malifaux 3rd Edition Tournament of the ReRoaring ‘20s “Put your ‘Faux where your game is! ”, which will be held: Sunday, the 23rd of February 2020. We will begin signups at 10:30am, with games starting at 11am, sharp. The tournament will have a $10 entry fee. The tournament will be 3, 2 hr and 15 min rounds. Single Faction, using GG0, Strategy and Schemes, with pools announced at the beginning of each round. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as a raffle for those which did not place. 5 tickets will be given to those players that sign up before February 15th. On December 30th from noon to six, we will be holding a casual Malifaux event and raffle at Snake Eyes Gaming in Altoona Pennsylvania. Players can game at their own pace, and play the kind of games they are interested in (Gaining Grounds, fun missions, etc.). At the end of the day we will raffle off prizes for those who participated. There is no cost to enter the event. As people play games and earn prize tickets, I will also be available to give demos throughout the day to new players who are interested, or help people who need to brush up on rules. Hey there everyone! On July 23rd at Snake Eyes Gaming in Altoona Pennsylvania, we will be holding a story encounter tournament. This event will function just like a normal tournament, but will use modified missions from last year's Adepticon. You can peruse the missions beforehand at this link: http://www.adepticon.org/wpfiles/2016/2016malifauxstory.pdf Registration will begin at 11:00 am and the first round will begin at 11:30 am. Presently, there is no cost to participate, however after registration we will determine if we wish to have a buy in to add to our prize pool. Additional prizes will be provided from a Wyrd prize kit of promotional miniatures and guilders. Assuming attendance is high enough, we will be providing prizes for things like Best General, Best Sportsman, etc. At the beginning of the event, players will choose a faction, and can bring any models that they are legally able to bring to that faction to each round, up to their 50 SS limit. The event will last three rounds, with two hours allotted for each round and a break for food. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Mixing it up this month with and Enforcer Brawl!!!! May 20th @11:30am Bring your favorite enforcer and an upgrade for this fast paced slug fest. 4-6 players per board depending on turn out. Enforcers must be a model that you can higher normally (no coryphee duets) and must have an upgrade that they would normally be able to attach (Enforcers cant be leaders, so leader only upgrades are out) We will be following the standard rules for a brawl but if anyone has any questions feel free to post or message me directly. Additional prizes will be provided from a Wyrd prize kit of promotional miniatures and guilders. The event will last three rounds, with two hours allotted for each round and a break for food. The schemes and scenarios for the event will be drawn from the Gaining Grounds tournament information provided by Wyrd, and the scenarios for this month are as follows: Round 1 - Headhunter, Close Deployment Round 2 - Stake a Claim, Standard Deployment Round 3 - Squatter's Rights, Corner Deployment As usual, schemes will be provided the day of the event in provided tournament packets. Hello everyone! At noon on January 21st, 2017 in Altoona Pennsylvania, will be holding a Henchman Hardcore and Enforcer Brawl at Snake Eyes Gaming. There will be no entry fee, and prizes will be given out at the end of the day in a raffle. Players are not required to play in both events (or even all three rounds of the HH), although it will increase their likelihood to win prizes. This is intended to be a low key event for both competitive and new players alike. The Henchmen Hardcore event is different from normal Malifaux events, and is a great way for newer players to jump into the game. The event will be three rounds, and rounds will last 30 minutes (the event might become four rounds if attendance is high enough). Some notable distinctions: - All Crews must be led by a Henchman, not a Master (your henchman is free, like a master). - The game size is 20 Soulstones. - All Crews must contain EXACTLY 4 models, no more, no less. - Upgrades may be purchased, as allowed by the standard rules of Malifaux. - The size of a Crew’s Soulstone Pool is limited by the Cache of the Henchman leading it; any Soulstones above this amount are discarded. - Any Actions, Abilities, or Triggers which summon models are considered to be “blank” (they may not be used and have no effect on the game, as if they were not printed on the model). - Only one Scheme will be available. - The same Crew must be used in each round of the event (so choose wisely). The Enforcer Brawl works differently as well, and will take place after the HH tournament has concluded. In short, each player will select one enforcer of their choice and attach a legal upgrade from their faction to it. Enforcers must have a cost to be played. Then, all players will brawl on the same table, playing for 6 turns, gaining and losing points as they destroy other enforcers or lose their own. More information regarding scoring can be found in the 2016 Gaining Grounds document. If you need more information, please contact me (Tyler Mentzer or TheVeganPolice) prior to the event. Also, if you want to play but don’t think you have the models required to field the force you want (or any models at all!), please speak to one us before the event and we can gladly lend you some or teach you the basics. In this event, players will be given their schemes and strategies at the beginning of each round, and all schemes and strategies will be pooled from an assortment of non-traditional or story-related missions. Be ready to think on your feet! The cost will be ten dollars to participate, all of which goes directly to the prize pool. Registration will begin at 12:30 pm and the first round will begin at 1pm. Additional prizes will be provided from a Wyrd prize kit of promotional miniatures and guilders. Assuming attendance is high enough, we will be providing prizes for Best General, Best Sportsman, Best Painted, and Best Overall.
