Running March 6th through April 9th North Georgia Malifaux will be hosting a new League. Each participant will choose a Faction which they must play in all League games. League games will be standard 50 soulstone encounters, with one difference: We will be using the Gaining Grounds 2016 Strategies and Schemes throughout! During Step 5: Determine Strategy and Available Schemes, follow this alternate setup: 1. When a card is flipped to determine strategies, if it both players have already scored League points from the strategy reflip the strategy. If both players want they can also decide on a particular strategy before hand, by mutual consent. 2. After the first two cards are flipped to determine the scheme pool, if each player does not have at least THREE schemes which they have not already scored a League Point for, keep flipping cards and adding schemes to the pool until each player has three to choose from. 3. League points are scored by scoring VP in game for that scheme or strategy. You can only score a league point for each strategy or scheme once. Ranking will be determined by most League Points, with ties being broken with most total VP scored in game. 4. Prizes will be given for the top three participants. Playercan report game here. You can play as many games as you like, but can only score once for each strategy and scheme. Information I need for a game report is as follows: Players Names, Strategy played and Victory Points each player scored, schemes played and Victory Points scored for each. New Blood, Old Grudges is a paint and play league running through December and January. The premise is simple: pick a crew box you have not painted, post a picture of them here, paint them up and play some games! Prizes will be awarded for best painted crew, best painted individual model, top three players using the tournament scoring method, most painting points, and for completely painting a crew box. The painting scoring works as follows: Painting a 30mm model: 1 point Painting a 40mm model: 2 points Painting a 50mm model: 3 points You earn an additional point for every model you paint after your sixth, and can paint up to ten total models for league points. You earn a ten point bonus when you complete your crew box. For a model to be painted, it must be based, and have at least three colors well applied. The play portion of the league will begin on January 3rd and will follow the following point values: Week of January 3rd: 30 soulstones Week of January 10th: 35 soulstones Week of January 17th: 40 soulstones Week of January 24th: 45 soulstones Week of January 31st: 50 Soulstones Victories are worth 3 points, Ties 1 point, Losses 0 points. Tie breakers will be differential, followed by total Victory points. You may play up to two games at each point level at any time between January 3rd and February 6th. We are kicking off 2016 with a 6 week Malifaux League at Wizard's Asylum in Wichita, KS. The league will be designed to allow for beginners to learn the game and build their crews up as each week progresses! Build the best hideout possible and show the others who controls Malifaux!When: Official league days are Saturdays at Wizard's Asylum. You may play as many or as few games as you wish but you may only score one game. The League will run from January 30th to March 5th. Ruleset: We will be utilizing the Shifting Loyalties Campaign rules, and we will be using the optional hideout and good doctor rules. The Armoury in is New Bedford is hosting a 4 week slow-grow league to help some of our new players get better acquainted with the game (veterans equally welcome!). Where: Games to be played at The Armoury When: Starting Wednesday, January 20th, until February 17th. New week begins each Wednesday. $$$?: entry fee is $10 Loot: Prizes based on participation! We will be running a grow league starting Jan. 31st in Carbondale Il. at Castle Perilous Books and Games. League will be 5 weeks long and will start at 30ss adding 5 every week to end at 50ss. The regular meeting day will be Sunday, but as long as games are played in the store and are reported to myself of a staff member you can schedule games any time during the week. Fixed faction. This league is geared towards new players and building a bigger local player base, and as such there will be no painting requirements. The 5th edition of local Malifaux League in Kraków will start on January 24th, 2016. You can register until January 23rd. We're going to play five rounds (35 ss, 35 ss, 45 ss, 50 ss, 50 ss), each round will last two weeks. In the first two rounds crews will be led by Henchmen. We will use Gaining grounds rules (if GG2016 appears before the start of the league, it will be used from round 1, if it appears later, it will be used from round 2). Pairings and scenarios for each round will be announced every second Sunday, starting on January 24th. Arcana Toys, Games and Hobbies in Washington, NJ will soon be moving to its new more spacious location. In its continued support of the growing Malifaux community in the area, a new dedicated gaming area will be created and in house league play will be established. The new league program, R.A.M.S. (Resident Arcana Malifaux Society) will kick off on January 3, 2016. With the addition of this dedicated area, games can be played any day of the week that the store is open. The goals of this league is to provide format and structure, reward players for their participation through monthly prizes and increase Malifaux-centric social activities and opportunities for players in the area. R.A.M.S. (Resident Arcana Malifaux Society) will function as the in house league at the Arcana Toys, Games and Hobbies. Each player will be asked to report games for tracking. In addition to tracking game scores, players will be able to earn additional points via a list of achievements. Monthly dues of $10 will be collected, 100% of these dues will be used for the benefit of the local Malifaux gaming community. We will be able to buy mats, terrain, and even use part of the dues to augment the monthly prize support that as your Henchman, I will be providing at the end of each monthly league. Yes, you read that correctly, each month prizes will be given out; as we expand the prizes will grow but let’s be clear, one of the main goals of R.A.M.S. will be to reward the local community for their loyalty and dedication to the game, to this end we very much would like to put out prizes that will undoubtedly be first rate and we have already engaged in conversations with some suppliers in furtherance of that goal. Since we will have our own dedicated space, R.A.M.S. games can be played any day of the week that the store is open and while there will be an incentive for playing different opponents each game, there will be no specific opponent requirement, making it quite possibly the easiest league you will ever participate in. I will be organizing a Malifaux slow grow/achievement league in Helsinki, Finland. You can find the registration, rules and more info in Finnish here. Even though the rules and everything else is in Finnish, our players are quite mature and able to communicate in English too, so we also welcome non-Finnish speaking players, if anyone wants to join. Heck, I even promise to translate the rules into English if someone wants to join and doesn't understand Finnish. The main venue for playing is the youth activity center Happi in Sörnäinen, but people are allowed to agree to play their games elsewhere as well. We are always hoping to get as many new players to join as possible, so previous familiarity with Malifaux is not a requirement. The rules of the league have also been written with beginners in mind and most of the prizes will be raffled based on participation and painting. Big announcement! We are going to be doing a large competitive league that will finish in a championship tournament from 9/14/15-11/28/15. Players will be split into conferences based on the local gamestore/ gaming group and will be scheduled for approximately 2 games a month within their own conference. Conference champions will come to Maplewood Hobby on 11/28/15 to compete in a tournament to determine the winner of the league. Single faction for both the league and tourney. So my play group is rebooting our league, and I was considering running Daw for it. As we are starting with henchmen, I was curious how viable montressor is on his own. I've heard he has survival issues, especially without support from Daw, and i'm wary about doing an almost strictly melee crew. So I was hoping for advice. The List as it stands is Montressor - Fearful Whispers, Survivalist Guilty X3 Convict Gunslinger, or Freikorps Trapper, or Hans (leaving me with 5, 6, or 4 stones respectively) Thank you for your feedback!

I'm starting a UK based Vassal league. The aim is to have a league based in the GMT zone for people such as myself who can't quite commit to games against people in the US due to those pesky job things. The league is open to other players outside of the UK, but I recommend that people who are outside of 2 hours ahead or behind GMT.
