  1. I really hope Lucius' love towards minions stays, since I'm guessing Dashel will take the guardsmen. I'm also expecting them to include Wastrels in McCabe, but I hope they tweak them a bit.
  2. fantastic! thanks for the input gives me a good idea where to start
  3. hi all :) I'm a Guild player looking to expand McCabe into TT and I'm also thinking about a new master and Misaki caught my eye. So my question is - are there models which overlap and would work well in these two crews?
  4. gotcha. was confused with the "don't like the models either" part
  5. has anyone managed to get a game or two with him? i'm in the process of assembling mine and i'd really like to hear some feedback
  6. Me neither. I mean, I don’t like the models either. out of curiosity, why not? I know their DF is crap, but I've managed to pull a lot of nasty stuff with Lucius, so lately 2 thralls are an auto-take for him.
  7. yup, it was still a good experiment and learning experience.
  8. plus, he can hit back (which, admittedly, was rare for me)
  9. this is something that might be doable for me down the road if I decide to get Nellie's box. the Jury is on her way, my SO has Frank and the Effigy, so if he's not playing them, i might take them
  10. thanks for the inputs and detailed analysis! the "or should I just buy Ryle" comment was not a serious one I hate the idea of buying a model (and as mentioned, additional models just to make it work) just to increase my success rate at HH. I just wanted to see if there are obvious model picks and synergies for the henchmen I already have. that being said, I ended up playing a HH game last night. took dashel (arrest him for triggers, lead lined coat), executioner and two riflemen. I forgot Queeg at home opponent played Langston, Joss and two spiders. managed to take down Langston, but lost the executioner and finally Dashel. those spiders are nasty! they engaged my riflemen so they couldn't shoot most of the time and took down their DF. I expected a worse fate, it was a small victory to kill Langston, but there's not much to do after that.
  11. I'm not expecting a 100% win ratio here, just not to get completely decimated in every game the dashel -queeg-riflemen combo sounds good, I might try that, thanks!
  12. good point. I just might not be so inclined to take Queeg as he tends to be relatively circumstantial and somewhat squishy, although I really like him and try to take him in 50ss games as often as I can. as far as killy models in the crew, an executioner usually fits that slot. I'll toy with other possibilities and see what I come up with
  13. I'm also playing a HH in a few weeks, but my only available henchmen are Sidir, Queeg and Dashel. Last month, I played a Sidir combo, which wasn't too bad, but as expected, there weren't any miracles. I don't see Queeg as being useful in HH, but I've seen a Dashel + riflemen list. Does he have any use in HH besides that? Is Sidir viable at all? I know these three are make the bottom of the Guild henchmen list, but are there options with them or should I just order Ryle and express paint him the night before?
  14. I played them with McCabe, but I'm also thinking about trying one with Lucius since he and Dashel love guardsmen
  15. I've seen him do really nasty stuff with executioners and the likes. One thing I've got going for me is that my opponent hasn't played Francisco at all, so when he does, I just might scrape by with some beginner's luck.
