  1. thanks for the pointers. yes I guess I was aiming for too much poison then. I think next time I will try and keep things moving forward and maybe just use the corpse curator sludge - If I get it - as a top up thing fo later in the game. I can instead focus on using mcmourning to push models up the table and nicely loaded with poison . both games I have played I have miss played horrendous corpse , forgetting all about it after the first mindless zombie corpse bomb. so yeah need to work on this.
  2. How Do? Right so I have had a couple games with mcm2 so far. In both games I attempted to load up my models with maximum poison by doing the huddle around the corpse curators sludge pile thing. Game 1, was a bit of a diassator. mainly due to me having a rough day at work and not having enough brain power left to learn a new crew. but one thing I did notice was that it was wedge deployment so although in my first turn activations I had amassed a lot of poison. My opponent. was able to move in quick and mess up my plans. So I kinda concluded that this strategy does not work well in close quarter games. Game 2 was corner deployment. So I thought this was be great as I would have plenty of time for the set up. Which I had, but I didn't have 5+ crow in my starting hand and did not get it on the corpse curators flip. So no sludge pile. So I spent the first activations trying to get what poison I can onto models, but sort of lost the initiative of the game. I made loads of other errors and was against Ramos my arch nemesis anyway so that was to be expected. But it did make me wonder if there is another way to play the crew as not getting the sludge turn 1 is quite likely and also not having room to set up for poison is also common. So if im playing for efficiency what is the minimum but useful amount of poison to have on models? Is there a less poison focussed way to run the crew / keyword? Basically what do you do when the first turn hand has no crows or I need to get stuck in quick? btw my list is: Mcm 2 Zombie chihuahua canine remains* grave digger* + killer instinct rogue necro + grave spirits touch nurse corpse curator kentouri mindless zombie* (pool 5) *corpse counter engine two games in although they did not go to plan, they were allot of fun, and I think this will be a great crew to play when I unlock its potential. But yeah need to understand how to play it better first . cheers for any thoughts

  4. Just reading this through, probably missing something but can't you just keep bouncing the zombie back onto the table forever? as it comes to the table with 0 health, is removed from the table as dead, then comes back again because of mcmourning.
  5. cheers thanks for the tips. Im trying to add damned to my crew but its a hard model to come by at the minute. sold out everywhere. Guess I will have to add kaltgeist to my shopping list as well. that's interesting about not needed too many pillars. I thought they would be key to heeling. in my game I lost a geryon and a giant on the 2nd turn, in one activation from manos. the giant had lost a few wounds for using the old ways though, so I figured it would be better to have been near pillars. although In this case they were killed before activating so not much I could have done. the set up was cursed objects standard breakthrough vendetta catch and release secret meet-up and assassinate I was going for secret meet-up and asasinate . loosing those models early on did not help. but yeah really tough game.
  6. I had my first game with euripredes 2 yesterday. I failed to score a single point. I think one of my main issues (other then not knowing how to work the crew) was that I didn't get enough ice pillars out. I have since found that I can turn scheme markers into Ince pillars. so if I do some early amxticvations to make scheme markers this may have helped. Something like walk drop scheme with the first few models. make a pillar with the Cyclops then get euripredes to turn the schemes in pillars. But im not sure if they will be too far back. I could use the geryons to push some of them though maybe? is this the general gist of how to start the game or is there sorting else I can do? tips for what I can do with my current models as well as what models I will need to add will be appreciated, Cheers, my list was: Euripredes 2 2 x geryon with inhuman reflexes. 1 x cyclops 1x gigant primordial magic thoon

  8. Hi there, I'm trying to learn how to play euripredes 2, Im struggling to understand how hepatomancy works. its supposed to be really good, but im not sure im understating how to use or even how it works. please could someone explain its use ? thanks
  9. in cursed objects if you summon an insignificant model, can it be given a cursed object token?
  10. cool thanks. yes it was the shadow bit that was confusing me as the rules only seemed to talk about the shadow of the thing the high model is on. so yeah got confused
  11. if I have a hight two model on a hight two piece or terrain and a model a height two model in standing behind another hight two piece of terrain can the model on the terrain see the model behind the other piece of terrain? the terrains are blocking thanks

  13. cool thanks, I had a look at the resolution and it did not help I have also been on the Vassel forum, someone there said to change the buffer to 1024. I have done this and things seem to have improved, will see how things go....

  15. hmmm, well resolution did not help unfortunately. I also tried upgrading Java , it worked for a minute then started lagging again, really frustrating.

  17. Hi, I keep running into an issue when playin on vessel, where there is a 3 to 4 second for every instruction that make. be it a mouse click flip of card move of a counter anything. It makes the game pretty much unplayable. either due to things taking forever to happen or see much lag that things just go out on control. Im pretty sure its not my internet connection as I have fibre to the door an don't encounter any issue playing with xbox online. I do however play vessel from a Mac. so im wondering if this is Mac related issue? has anyone else experienced this? are there any fixes that I can try ? Cheers
  18. Hi, I had a game a week back, i played my mcmourning crew verses my mates ramos crew. I have been struggling to get a decent game with this match up for ages. I actually made a post about this a while a go and got lots of good tips. I realised that I have not been playing my crew agressilvy enough and learned that the armour negating ability of doug was sorting that I should have been using more of. Walking into this game I had recently played against another armour heavy crew I had been very aggressive with my crew and had got good results. So coming into this game I was confident and though that maybe I might fair better. It was a wedge deployment so we started off quite close. I cant remember my mate full list but he had the emissary , jos, and arachnid swims I think. His emissary was looking like big threat to my crew so I thought it would be a good idea to send mcmourning after him. knowing that I could negate armour I had plenty of point on the table. I had a good hand so I thought it would be possible to dispatch the emissary quickly. 1 turn ,maybe 2 turn max. So I want for it. Shortly after getting stuck in I found I had perhaps over looked a small detail. the emissary had a power that allows him to spend stones. so he was able to use these to add negatives to fly flips and bailly made it very hard for me to land a blow and when I did never manages any other then weak. He also had a way to heal the emissary so whatever damage I did was healed. he started with 10 soul stones and had another thing that allowed to make more. so to cut a long story short, what was meant to be a quick enemy removal turned into a war of attrition. I cant remember if I killed the emissary I don't think I did but if i did it was on the last turn. To fours credit he lasted the whole game slugging away at the emissary. But I was throwing everything I had at it and not get very far. So in the red mist of trying to dispatch this guy the rest of my game fell apart. I got overrun by spiders a I had nothing else to deal with them and got out schemed. So yeah I after the game I realised this was probably not the best play. But im not sure what would have been. So yeah would be interested to know what other plays would have been sensible.
  19. Ah right, I didn’t realise that the poison does not go down from catalyst. Been playing playing that wrong. That makes life much easier. I have been struggling setting up to minimise effects from this all along.
  20. Hi, im trying to get bet at the early game for mcmounring. I cluster all my models together to get the poison stacks, but then im loosing it as quick due to catalyst on mcmourning and Sebastian. Is there like a decent order to proceedings in the first few activations that get the most out of it?

Hi, I have been having a game on vessal this evening and I am getting really bad lag. there is a 3 second delay whenever I click on something. at first I thought it might be my upload speed as its 10mbps second, but I also get the lag when my opponent moves something and my download speed is 100 mbps. Im wondering if the issuer that I'm using a mac and not PC? sp two questions, A) is anyone aware of macs and vessel not getting on? B) is 10mbps uplaod too slow to play? cheers for any help
  22. Ive been out the loop for a bit, so compeltly lost as to whats going on. There seems to be loads of talk of the new edition being out already, but the Webstore is still only selling 2nd edition? So yeah whats happening?
