A question about this ability: can i select the same model over and over to give plus flips to everybody? the abilty says "...it may gains SLOW, if one does so..." is the fact that i'm choosing a model to gain slow that trigger the flip (and then ignoring the stacking slows) or is it the change in status from "NO SLOW -> SLOW" ?
  2. And they nerfed the Whiskey Golem too with the changed "Open The Gourd" the biggest change in Ophelia's Nerfs is now Rami (once again nerfed) cannot double shoot 3/5/6 at 18" 😕
  3. Hi, Another Round Action says: "Shockwave 2. Wp14, Poison +2. Then, models that failed to resist this shockwave for the first time this Activation resolve the Poison Condition as though it were the End Phase [..]" if an enemy model dies for this poison damage, is the brewmaster counted as the killer or is it the End Phase Condition Damage so no one is treated as "killed By" (as per point 8 of the general FAQs)? so, the enemy gets or not the point for revealing hidden martyrs? Thanks

  5. a reactivating Fingers (maybe after a little Taxi+Fast From an Iron SKeeter)? i can already hear the screams of "NERF THIS"
  6. well fingers Can dish out some pretty big damage if used in combo with a Performer (up to 15 damage, if all attacks connects + all triggers + all fail the wp duel) and is fairly easy to do that kind of damage with a Brewmaster givin on duels at the right target that's sayin. he do better just scheming and anti-scheming, but is nice to do some big spike of damage when the opponent doesn't expect it (and a Performer is a very good pick in a Brewmaster crew)
  7. You get 5 cards: Get off my Land (O) action Three times defensive stance. But you are using the whole master's activation, so getting those three extra cards is quite meh :/
  8. so, you would have preferred to wait another year without any kind of change, instead of this quick errata that happens to make some models playable again because "I read too many words ... too blah blah blah"? the full errata will come (maybe on a Third edition...) for now i'm happy with the changes

  10. Yes they are. Brewie goes very well with kill schemes/strat. Just swill and see the enemy fall for whatever model you throw at him. Lucky effigy and desperate mercenaries like big Time working with The Brewmaster

  12. Or use The Sow as ammo. For only 8SS you get 3 turns of shooting without The Need of cards or corpse markers or whatever.

  17. No, but that's the normal play of brewy. With that upgrade i want stuff Dead and that ability fails to do so. Would be great if Barkeep never sleeps shut down the "on the house" preventing models to heal off the Brewmaster
  18. and you are gaining "only" 1 AP, because you are spending another AP (or a merris' (0) and a card) to place a scheme marker.
  19. but then you have to consider if the 4ss of difference between BBB and Mancha / McTavish with Mud Toss is an effective discount for condition removal. knowing that those 4SS of mctavish are a Sh6 14" 2/4/6 damage + marker removal or Mancha's attacks
  20. i played him a couple of time with a Skeeter carrying him aorund, it was quite effective. you get a 12" reposition, so LOs is no problem and is a good escape if engaged. and with FAST you can either triple focus (so you have a guaranteed straight flip on DF5 in cover) or focus + shot 2 times you are using 14 SS (a dirty cheater in Rami is good) but you can always put down some schemes with the skeeter while moving Rami "only" 6"
  21. nice, forgot that part of the ability apart from the restrictions, this is the only upgrade that mention the model's name on the card (gremlin, Zoraida is Neverborn )
  22. Sammy "can't" take The Dread Pirate Zipp Upgrade the mood swing action on bayous only happen when a friendly Zipp is buried. so burying Sammy wont' work :\
  23. the pigapult is better at placing those models throw three HT1 models (Ophelia + Francois + another) under 16" from your deployment (it's a place, so you can reach better places than a push) activate Sammy With Hooch Igniter Walk + Move and burn and you aren't even insignificant, so you can start placing scheme turn 1 (with the third model, maybe) and on turn 2/3 you can always hire a couple of stuffed piglets and shoot things (or Launch other models)
  24. but is very resource intensive. at worst you are using a SS + medium card + low card to get a good amount of poison from trixie's 0 knowing also that if you don't pick that 5+ you are pretty screwed. a Fingers can attack once or twice (and a walk to get into position for scheming) without the need for SS or card granting reactivate for 1 turn or 2
