I don't know that Phillip and the Nanny adding cards to your hand is EVER forgotten. That's the most common reason for people to take that model...
I feel though that not enough people, myself included, ever get enough out of Phillip by ONLY cycling cards and not taking advantage of Chatty, enemy scheme marker removal, or their 0 gun.
I am still a proponent of playing Sybelle with Molly but I like to take her autokill trigger and try to time her attacks after Molly has summoned a bunch and hopefully milled some cards out of my opponents hand. With A Flourish gets around Sybelles low-ish damage track later in the turns, later in the game.
I think that Molly with her traditional build can still work so well based solely on the merits of how powerful her summoning mechanic is. She is VERY mobile, especially if you take advantage of the push trigger on her nuke.
I definitely think that a core of Molly with upgrades, a Kentauroi, a Belle, and a Crooligan or Necropunk is fantastic. I don't play her often without Archie, somewhat for the fluff of it, somewhat because of how much I like the model, and mostly because of how dangerous he is - especially with an Obey/Accomplice chain.
