  1. Side note: Apparently The Wild Ones "can be used as a proxy for the Colette Crew Box (Smoke and Mirrors)". Or someone copypasta'd from last year and missed a section.
  2. Or pool your whole playgroup's order together and drastically reduce shipping costs.
  3. "Good Luck." Love the sculpts. I only wish McCabe was female too. I'll probably end up using the original McCabe with the rest of this set seeing as how I already have the LE stat card for him. Let's hope the Gencon sale has individual Wastrels up as I'll probably have to pick up 3 of those too.
  4. Might not help a ton if you're in the UK(as I don't know what distribution there is like) but Secret Weapon makes a "Blasted Wetlands" style base that works great for a bayou. 5. Outside of Raspy, I don't think Snow Storm is all that great for Arcanists. He can't do as much damage as Howard. He can't out-activate better than Mechanical Rider. He can't offer as much mobility to his crew as Angelica or Cassandra. But in Raspy, he's amazing. He has frozen heart. He can be a mirror for Raspy or her Silent Ones. His walk is high and he can place his friends next to him; an invaluable tool in the glacially-slow Raspy crew. And, if your opponent tries to beat you at your own shoot-out, he protects you. With his healthy number of wounds(and your silent ones to heal him, should he need it), he can be the vanguard of your slow, but incredibly deadly, advance to push your opponent off the board.
  6. If you're willing to pick up a model for this event, I think Mechanical Rider would be pretty strong. Allows you to skip hiring your Gamin yet still use them.
  7. Agreed. If you're stoning for cards, it seems way more efficient to just take a bunch of hard-hitting Enforcers and Henchmen and put Imbued Energies on them. Either your opponent kills them and you get 4 cards/SS or they don't and you wreck your opponent's crew.
  8. How about having a diorama of him having won a drinking game? Maybe a wooden table with some glasses on it arranged in triangles with someone passed out on the other side?
  9. Unfortunately, I did not. Alt stat card was apparently for most leaders killed in the campaign and most of the time, my opponents withdrew before I could take a shot at them.
  10. Since the errata on Metal Gamin, I've only summoned Fire Gamin in regular games. Best Wk, Df, and Ca of the 4 summonable units with a defensive trigger to boot(not that it goes off often). So you may end up wanting an additional box of Fire Gamin if you hire any or if your opponent doesn't kill any.
  11. In my competitive Raspy list, I run 4. They only get better in multiples, being able to fully heal the one your opponents were trying to focus down. Their mobility is somewhat lackluster but Snow Storm helps. You also kinda have to be careful how you place them. The key is to set up a web in the first turn where no enemies leaving their deployment zone are safe from Raspy. Walk+Walk first turn with all your Silent Ones first turn is perfectly acceptable if you can set up this web. Obviously, this doesn't work against highly mobile crews(looking at you, Viktoria slingshot) but that just comes down to knowing your opponent's crew. Silent Ones may be the most hated model in our local meta because of how effective they've proven to be. The only real downside is their WP but even that isn't so bad since they're immune to Horror Duels.
  12. This may be a bit late but having played 2 Shifting Loyalties campaigns with Arcanists already, as long as the campaign is scheduled for 6 weeks or longer, your best bet is starting Cassandra, Arcane Reservoir, and Mechanical Rider. This is true for basically any master in the faction. Cassandra is very good at keeping herself alive when she needs to(which is more important in campaigns than in normal games). I tend to take Arcane Reservoir with every Arcanist crew I run so that's an obvious choice. Mechanical Rider can help make up the early difference in model count then tends to shine all throughout the campaign(and don't even get me started on how broken she is if you flip Pit Fight). After that, you should be able to max your scrip in 2-3 games per week which should allow you all the scrip you need to go into any Arcanist crew by mid-campaign. The two easiest bounties for us are the scheme marker one and the scrap marker one. Both should be easily completed by Mechanical Rider alone. So buy one in the first week or two then buy the second right before the last game of the week before the midway point. This should allow you to purchase a master at the very first opportunity then get their Avatar immediately after your first game with them.
