  1. With age and experience come wisdom. Wyrd is probably THE MOST forthcoming gaming company I have seen, and I am grateful for that. I personally (read: my opinion, does not apply to anyone else, inb4 inevitable 'someone takes it personally') don't mind the delays in the release schedule. Lets me catch up on other things with money I would have been spending on minis (read: Rave in the Redwoods). If there was major news of an earth-shattering nature, they'd let it be known. My general outlook is to roll with it, because it's just plastic toys, and rent is due in 5 days.
  2. If anything, that makes a lot of sense. Let us know how it goes, if it goes.
  3. Nah, I actually sat here in Notepad and did the number of unique combinations. 1/2 and 2/1 are the same thing, so you only count it once. You start with 1/1 through 1/0, then 2/2 through 2/0, the sets get smaller each time.
  4. Devil's Advocate Moment (because bored at work): The only way to simulate a 54 card fate deck is to use two d10's as separate values - 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 and so on - for a total of 55 possible combinations. Then you need to assign each possible combination a value and suit based on the deck, with 1/1 and 9/9 being jokers, and 0/0 being rerolled. Then you need to have a sheet of paper with each corresponding combination and a check box next to it, so as each combination of dice is used, it is crossed off. The problem you'll eventually run into will be when you start running out of combinations that have already been used, and subsequent rerolls occur, you will find yourself rerolling more and more until you finally get the next value.
  5. Invisible mental and emotional trauma. Best Immuto to enchant unarmed attacks with.
  6. Quality control is making sure the artwork on the signed proof matches the artwork coming out of the printer. Matches the artwork in the computer. It really is that simple. One pair of eyes could have solved this issue from the start. Measure twice, cut once.
  7. I used to work in a printing house. Artwork, printing, cutting, packaging and shipping all kinds of printed items. It's basic skills work. Wyrd signed off on one version of the cards. Wargame Vault printed, cut, packaged and shipped out the wrong version. Twice. If someone did that where I used to work, they'd be fired. They screwed up, and badly. They HAVE TO try to save face and be extra polite and friendly now and offer everyone free stuff. Otherwise they lose possible future business. This guy gets it.
  8. Getting back to the real topic at hand, I have lost all confidence in Wargame Vault after this.
  9. I use mine as Wicked Dolls, the Voodoo Doll, Mysterious Effigy and Brutal Effigy. Always make sure to get TO approval before the event.
  10. You know, I would think this to be too powerful at first... but Bloodwretches are a good example of exactly this kind of thing. *doe eyes*
  11. Unless you, yourself, are the Necromancer. I mean, sure, the wife and kids follow you around all the time, but at least they're not bugging you anymore.
