  1. That makes sense, I often forget that spare parts has the option for guild autopsies. Thanks for clarifying that.
  2. I like this list, but Morti seems a little out of place. Can you elaborate, I feel like I am missing something. I would think Datsue Ba might work better with Izamu being a Spirit. Thanks for the advice everyone
  3. Hello, starting a campaign at my LGS soon, I have all of released Ressers, some proxies, except Val and students (they are in the mail), I have been kicking around a couple henchmen to start with and could use some advice from the community 35ss Morti -My Favorite Shovel Canine Remains Canine Remains Canine Remains Crooligan Guild Autopsy Guild Autopsy or Morti -Spare Parts Chiaki the Niece Canine Remains Canine Remains Canine Remains Canine Remains The Henchwoman I am also considering is Sybelle -Not too banged up Crooligan Dead Doxy Rotten Belle Rotten Belle Flesh Construct Thanks
  4. I would have started a new thread but I feel that this is fairly relevant to the topic as it might add some additional insight to Ryle. I am starting a campaign soon with my local group, I am considering playing Ryle to build into Hoffman. (also my first time playing guild) My starting list since its campaign is Ryle -Tessellating Coil Hunter Hunter Warden or austringer Watcher My guild options are pretty limited to constructs and austringers only. Is Ryle decent as a leader? Does he prefer taking non-constructs? I am also open to suggestion. Thanks
  5. We are! We have the mats by mars mats we can bring if you would like to use them. They are handy. We have 4.
  6. oh wasn't aware it was on the FAQ. Thanks!
  7. I did some searching and I found *some* answers but, it is unclear as to what is the *right* answers. Simply put; The birds tactical action "draw los and range for nico's CA actions" this includes pulses/auras? *hindsight, this should have been posted in the rules forum, sorry ><
  8. In an attempt to start painting my doug crew, I goofed up and got too much on doug and one of the nurses is all grainy. It's likely due to the primer being old :/. Anyway, I am having an issue removing the primer now, I have soaked poor ol' doug in simple green for days with nothing to show for. I have read a number of other solutions that I would like some input on. Super clean I have heard is similar to simple green but better? There is the brake fluid route but I cannot find a good answer on how long do it soak the model and if it is rough on plastic, additionally, I would rather not use a toxic solution. I have also read that rubbing alcohol works? Appreciate your time
  9. I recently played a game of HMHC, my list was Morti with my favorite shovel and 3 flesh constructs. It was fun, morti stays int he back and makes the constructs trudge forward with his fresh meat.
  10. The group I play with is getting together tomorrow night for some games but its very limited time, just about 4 hours, aka, 1 game -.-;. Not having ample time to practice is unfortunate but honestly we only get *maybe* 2 games a week. I might pitch this idea for casual play for my group. ~4 hour games are exhausting and promising for more that 2 games a week.
  11. Thank you, I appreciate the time to respond to this. I do hesitate most of the time while playing Nico because I am not sure what to bring in next. I understand this probably would come with experience. Which gets the job done best. Having access to pretty much everything is a little intimidating. I'll have to take a closer look at the tactica on here for him. I did notice the gaining grounds schemes/strats were not on there though. Molly and Kirai don't have this issue so much. I'll have to get organized in some way, thought about stealing the wife's cookie sheets(could be disastrous in a number of ways) all my stuff is in foam and a hassle to dig through. Thanks, I'll have to try and remember this advice.
  12. Hello, I am only about 6 months into the game. I picked up ressers mainly because of Doug and I have not been disappointed with his performance. There is a 2016 gaining grounds tournament coming up this Saturday that a group of us are going to. The turns are 90 minutes with 15 minute crew build times. I understand that I should pick a list based on schemes and strategies but I want some input on summoners, in a tournament format, from the community. Our faction is summoner heavy and they feel like they should be for causal games. I have read/heard that Nico does very well in this format. When I have played heavy summoners like, Nico or Kirai, the games took ~4 hours. This could be due to some inexperience I have with the game. The last game I played with Nico, although I felt I did do pretty well, the game took 3 hours. Our other summoner, Molly seems like it could be less time consuming because of how hers come in versus the others. I do not think that she takes as much time as the other 2 though. My gut tells me to play Yan lo, Seamus or Doug as they are straight forward, quick activations, less activations, less options to summon and aggressive. I understand that these could be seen in either light, good or bad. This line up can cover pretty much all the strategies and schemes. Any advice is appreciated and input on how to cram Nico or Kirai in 90 minutes. Thanks! *summoners: I understand all of the masters "summon" in some fashion but, when I think summoner I think of the 3 noted above. *honorable mention, because I forgot her, Tara could be okay in a timed format but, I don't think I have enough experience with her yet.
  13. Okay, we played it correctly then. Thank you.
  14. I think I will be there with 3 other players.
  15. Came up yesterday, the book says pushes are in a straight line, if pushed towards or away it is direct line. Ramos has an ability magnetism, which says "directly towards" specifically. The doxy says, on the "Take the Lead" ability, "push towards" and does not specify directly. We played it that it needs to be "directly towards" per the book but, I am curious if this is a stipulation of unless says otherwise or if there is a errata I missed. Sorry if this was asked before, I was unable to find a prior question. Thanks for your time.
