  1. Guys, I have a problem maintaining my paint. Here the situation: - I don't have much time for the hobby and only very sporadically have the chance to do some painting. - I have bought many paints (mainly GW and Vallejo) over time, and since I am not painting intensively, they get "old". - I also use the air brush Here the problem: - So every time I open a paint pot there is a surprise in which state it is. Sometimes it partially dried out, sometimes the paint has decomposed. So I try to recover the paint with variable success. and mostly not getting it to the right consistency for painting. - For air brushing I just last weekend with a Vallejo Air color cluttered my air brush, which just killed all the joy. So many times I cannot really enjoy painting, as the paint is too thick or to thin or somehow doesn't really paint nice. So here my questions: - Any suggestion on how you store your paints and maintain them? - How do you make sure your paints have consistency? - Any tips on how to "recover" paint, if it got thick/dry or decomposed? I think you get the picture. Attached a picture of Teddy :-) completed few weeks back.
  2. This is great, can somebody put this into the Wiki (http://pullmyfinger.wikispaces.com/ ) creating a own section for story encounters?
  3. Hi, I just looked at the following article and really like the ability to customize the scale of minature. http://www.3ders.org/articles/20160223-rough-and-tumble-3d-print-your-very-own-fantasy-board-game.html Here the question: Since Wyrd has all the models as 3D render, it shouldn't be too complicated to generate STL for 3D printing? I definitely would be very interested to 3D-print Malifaux models in 54mm size. Actually (not sure if this is only as I am getting old) but the models in 32mm scale are becoming too small for me. Am I the only one thinking in this direction? Just imagine: - Wyrd would strike a deal with a 3D printing service (which should have a location in Germany), allowing the models to be printed in 58mm scale. - You have a free choice of the material, so if your pockets are deep you could even get all the models in metal. Interested in your thoughts.
  4. Great move of Wyrd, I like it. With on demand printing, wouldn't it be possible to offer a bigger sized card format. I actually have issues with the small fond size (I always need to take off my glasses to read the text) of the cards and would greatly appreciate an option to have cards in a bigger format.
  5. My 4: multi part model kit for each Emissary, to allow us to create a master specific emissary for each upgrade.
  6. 1: To add to this: Fraction Specific Terrain with "cool" interactions. 2: Okay, this could be controversial, but I would wish to have all "avantar" models in plastic. These models got me pulled into Malifaux and even if they don't get onto the table that often, they are just cool to have. I would be totally happy with 2-3 avantars released every year, so no expectation to rush them. In the first year I would be delighted to see the avantars for Lady J, Pandora, Ramos :-) 3: more Story encounters: ideally incorporating "cool" terrain and avantars :-)
  7. What I would like to see (in addition to at least some new models per fraction): Introduce game rules for smaller game soulstone counts games, which don’t require house rules such as not allowing summoning. I could imagine this being accomplished:Game size dependent strategy, scheme decksHand cards size becomes soulstone dependentGame size dependent soul stone cache“epic” game rule for games with ~75+ soulstone (master + henchman) + more rounds, allowing avatar manifestation (by bigger and longer game it should eliminate/mitigate balance issues).Scenarios / Encounters with specific soul stone count and terrain setup (like Descent and others).Actually rolling up all the encounters scattered in previous books and chronicles would be good.Stricter (formal) terrain placement (see Battlelore 2nd edition ), or even fixed Terrain-setup’s.I am just playing in the family with my kids and since we are not experienced enough, there is a risk we realize late in the game that the terrain was not balanced and then ...Innovative/cool (sample) board/terrain setups (which have gotten some play testing and validation that they are balanced):Such as a small 2x2 board + terrain for smaller soulstone counts.Multiple levels, vantage points (tricky to be done by inexperienced players and still be an enjoyable/balanced game)Terrain (models) with:Explicit terrain rules.Again, as we play we run too often into discussions on the terrain rules as we are not routine enough to clarify everything upfront.Actually when the Wyrd plastcraft terrain was announced I had hoped that each terrain piece would come with an explicit terrain rule card.fraction specific terrain models.
