Anyone know when the web sale will end? Want to know if I'll get paid in time.

Just checking I read that correctly. The tortoise and hare encounter will be general release one day? Its not an Easter only deal? I want to know if I can leave that till later in the year or if I have to buy it this weekend if I want it and I am paranoid enough to ask.

I have used Raspy as a buffer a lot. I like taking high threat models such as Howard, stacking more armour on them, rushing them into the opponents crew and then watch while they spend AP to slowly whittle down the dangerous model in their ranks while the rest of my crew move into position. Great for bodyguard. Its also really useful against assassinate. I know many love armour of December to get out of combat, but if my opponent manages to engage her with a high damage model I use her to armour herself (x3 if severe damage is 6+, x2 and defensive for more tomes if severe is 5 or less), try to get tomes. The armour will reduce all damage below 8 to 1, then her trigger ends the attackers activation. Try the use low tomes first against an opponent with 3 melee activations as crafty ones, when seeing a tome, might cheat their score lower to fail so they get another attack and hope you don't get a tome this time. Managed to laugh in the faces of both Lilith and Nekima for 2 turns using this trick + stones when the opponent went first.

Iv only played against Ramos but I'd use joss to kill the creation to drop 2 scrap on turn 1

Hi I'm starting Gremlins and really want to field the War Wabbit (War Pig). Other than Hog Wild are any of the boxes that are available (in stores) before x-mas particularly good with the War Pig? Thanks Pete

I went a bit translucent crazy (almost my entire order was) The reason isn't that they are rare or limited. Its that I can paint (or not paint) the translucent plastic to fit the models theme better. A transparent blue inked ice gamin will look a lot more like its made from ice than a painted normal one, kaeris painted but with transparent orange wings of fire, void wretch that is just bright green eyes on a Smokey transparent ghost like body, Karina with dark pits where her eyes should be andI am going to put LEDs into the bases of some of the bigger models. That is also why I'm not too bothered that the carnival is translucent as there are no models in the set that I think would look better transparent than they would painted.

if the doppelganger gets its trigger isn't that 6? IIRC the doppelganger uses the copied ability as part of the (0) action on its trigger, then twice as (1)'s? (I don't have the card) But isn't that more of about the doppelganger and changeling using any high cost models abilities? Iv faced a doppelganger copying Angel Eyes, was bad But only time will tell

I wasn't going to bother with this one, until I read that card. My Tara crew will have so much fun with bury, fast and slow. I'm going to give it a shot in arcanists, moving scheme markers will make some other abilities a bit more intimidating

$100 for dark carnival, ouch (plus getting it to the UK), think ill pass on the Carnival and Coryphee. As for people who like limited edition because its rare. I cannot see that viewpoint, I choose whichever look the best. I would much rather have the alt firestarter because I think it looks better, but I would rather have Howard over Miss, because I like the normal one more. I do go a bit crazy for translucent models though

Probably because I'm new to Malifaux but this is great in my eyes. I'm going for the translucent kaeris and lynch crews for sure. I like the nightmare coryphee, pity I wasn't playing when the carnival was available. Can anyone tell me, do any of the products on the webstore during this sale count towards the $300 for all 4 alt models? As there are rulebooks and models that are already released I will need more than the other things in this promotion.

I'm a fair bit clumsy and I like the arsenal decks as a way to replace my lost or damaged cards. I only discovered this game a few months back and in that time I managed to loose a set of Rasputina's box cards (think I left them at a club) and my mechanical rider showed up with an ugly misprinted card (the wound counters were wrong), so the decks let me replace those and have backups for the next time I do something like this. I really like my cards to be the same size, and quality. I personally wouldn't mind if the wave decks are done away with as long as there is a way for me to get replacement cards for such situations without having to buy the models again. Another good thing about the cards for me was that before my group started playing we were able to buy the decks and read them easily spread out on a table instead of flicking back and forth in a book (which for me is the main selling point of stat cards) and then decide which model boxes we wanted to buy.
