  1. My lokal Henchman asked me to build a demotable for convetions and demogames. That’s why the table had to be transportable and not to heavy. Big projects need big support, so many glue and a big saw. My Henchman wanted a demotable 24” x 24” for faster action on the table. So I saw two parts 12” x 24” painted everything on them, modeled a way out of acryl, maked the small hills out of cork, put some stones on the edges of the hill and sand on the rest of the table. Primed with black and brown. Drybrushed with some 3 types of brown, grey and white. Some oil-color on the muddy way. Some grass and moss added. A frame for more stability and for a better look. Painting the ground plan on cardboard. Adding some hits arts stones Building the walls out of more cardboard. Making Details out of wood line doors … Drybrushing, masking, drybrushing, masking … annoying, but important Adding mud, posters and last details I promised to build to smaller houses and one bigger building, so let have a look Cardboard, wood, acryl, same steps as before Drybrushing and so on Adding some other windows, more posters I builded some walls, big stones, obstacles and so on before. Added everything to the table (incl. some of my minis, I also painted the minis of the 2player box for my henchman) From the Start till here I needed nearly 2 weeks (the time I have next to familie and job). The weekend 5. and 6. of march in Bremen there was a big games convetion, where my henchman presented malifaux. We have 2 big newspaper here. In both there was a bigger article abaout the convention. In both articles the table where to see and our game was called. (german) The big building looks nice but is not very practically to play. That’s why I build a not soo nice looking building for play, a ruin I hope you like the demotable, I had much fun and I hope that the table will see much playtime
  2. thx. the blood is done very easy: mix 50:50 tamiya clear red : black wash (http://www.shop.battlefield-berlin.de/index.php/katalog/artikelinfo/23911-1-show-tamiya_clear_x-27_rot.html for the darker blood. Pure clear red for the normal blood. "splatter-effect": dip a big brush into clear red and blow the colour directly on the mini.
