I have read that the Puppet wars minis are legal as Malifaux models as long as you base them on the correct Malifaux base size. If I wanted to play a Master who doesn't have a puppet version, how much of the original model would I need to use in converting another Puppet miniature for it to be considered a legal representation in a tournament setting?

I've been out of wargaming for a few years now and fancy dipping my toes back in with Malifaux. Started collecting a few models with the first release of the rules but never settled in to actually playing it, so now I want to correct that. Hoping there are some others in the area so thought I would make an intro post.

I hope you don't mind if I steal your thread a little. I was looking for Malifaux players in the Rugby area, which is about 30 minutes from Leicester. I don't know if any one else is interested in the area, but it would be great to create a group to play. I'm about 15 minutes out from Rugby but it seems a decent enough place with a good wargaming store there to work off of.
