  1. Miss Fitz! (entirely not like the band at all, honest)
  2. That's the name I thought of awhile back for an alt Seamus....
  3. I would love to see Nightmare Edition Molly Crew. Don't know what it would look like, but I'd love to see it.
  4. As much as I, too, would like to see an alt Yin or Toshiro, I would appreciate it if they just redistributed the original Miss model, the alt nurse, Miss Pack, in plastic.
  5. Welp... Nope. So, again.... WTB Miss Anne Thrope. In box, so as not to have the wrong head and arms. I will pay cash through paypal. Make me an offer. Please. And searching for a Miss Demeanor, if any leads...
  6. WTB Miss Anne Thrope. I broke mine ?. I have cold, hard cash...
  7. So excited to proxy Asura Roten! Residents of Rottenburg is gonna be great. I'm just picturing a Mindless Zombie attacking with a Ml 5 attack and doing 2/3/4 damage and then some! Now I'm picturing them all doing it!!!
  8. We ran into a question that probably has an easy answer, but the rules we found on pg 46 on general timing in the rule book just left us scratching our heads. Rather than misword the question, two examples; 1. Mcmourning Scalpel Slings Zipp, does Zipp places 6" and then Mcmourning pushes into base contact, or does Mcmourning push and then Zipp places 6" away, and out of engagement? 2. Santiago shoots Dead Doxy, she pushes 4", out of range, can he shoot again from his trigger, or does he shoot again, then she pushes out of range? Would she push 8"?
  9. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been whining to my Mali-friends that I can only find a Guild Mcmourning podcast for the past 6 months. Now to listen at work.
  10. Hello. Well, Alt Francisco is on his way. Alt Perdita is painted, kissing her guns, and ready. There is no Alt Nino (as far as I know). Now I need Alt Santiago. I'm hoping they made her in plastic at some point, but either way, I would like to get my hands on Santana. Willing to pay shipping, too.
  11. I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons most of my life, and when the 4th edition rules came out, I found I suddenly needed miniatures, since it had gone battle-map. So I went to my local game store to pick some up. I wasn't a big fan of many of the Reaper line of figures my store had, but the friendly LGS salesman asked if I was interested in Malifaux. I said, "What's that?" He said, "A tabletop skirmish game that uses cards instead of dice." To which I said, "Like Warhammer, but without dice? Meh. I can't afford the Warhammer game, and if I wanted to play cards, I'd play Magic." He said, "Just check out the mini's." As a precursor: In 2007, I started playing D&D Online. World of Warcraft was everywhere, and I like to go against the grain. At this time, I had been listening to a lot of the violin/cello band Rasputina, so I named my first character (wizard/rogue) Rasputina. BTW, I still have that toon. So then, when I saw her box; a woman in an animated pose, wearing a furry top hat and goggles, followed around by ice mephits and a golem (this was when metal was still predominant), with the name Rasputina, I HAD to have her! She was my RPG sorcerer mini for awhile, but then I decided to check out the rules for this game she was from. I bought the rules only guide, talked my friend into getting Perdita, and we started teaching ourselves the game. (I actually gave another friend Rasputina's crew a while later to get him to play. Which worked. Only, I had to grab Seamus to make up for it.) Since then, I've collected a "modest" collection of models, learned to paint (poorly), listen to all the podcasts, think about the game all the time, and get mad if I can't play Malifaux at least once a week.
  12. Hunting Party is in the scheme pool, so sure....
  13. I figured you think of this list every game. I expect Ramos every time, and curse you Ramos! stupid spiders *grumble, grumble* Seven Crooligans!
  14. I would void and box them. I have no idea how to do more than deny points with or without summoning, that's the problem. Cause I suck at interference. It seems the general forum consensus is the one I've already been using, now I just have validation from the community; bring my lovely belles and doxies, and of course, a handful of croolies. Now to just get better at playing the game....
  15. The strategy is flipped, it's a mask, I groan inwardly. Of all the strats and schemes, I hate Interference the most. I can never seem to win it. I play Rezers more often than not, and you would think a faction that can summon hordes of models could easily pull it off. But, alas, they are often either engaged, or dead. Also, the master, let's say Nicodem or Molly, can only really summon at a certain range, and are usually within the quarter (or two) with the most going on. I haven't run Reva in this strategy yet, but even though she can be anywhere, her crew can't, she can't summon more models, and her crew selection seems to be more pricey in general. Any crew choices (in Rezers), or helpful tips on making this strategy any easier?
  16. edited. nevermind... Nellie can hire alot of mercs
  17. Ok, one more. I'm sure everyone finds this stupid by now, but I just want to cross the I's and dot the T's before playing, Sloth. Resting in the Blues says; Target other friendly model within 6" may gain the slow condition. If it gained the slow condition, it heals 3 damage. Since the trickster is considered a friendly model for heal actions, that is fine. But she doesn't actually gain the slow condition, so does she heal 3 damage? Or does it count as gaining the condition, but since she ignores all other effects, she still gets to heal as tho she took slow?
  18. What about Chiaki's Memories Past? She can't succeed on removing the condition for the ram trigger Cleansing Death to heal 2.
  19. So, like the title suggests, can the nurse heal the trickster? I was planning on using the nurses for this week's divergant paths. But the story encounter rules; Perform healing flips on the Trickster Marker as normal, ignoring all other effects. For each point of damage the Trickster would heal, it instead moves 1” toward the Deployment Zone of the model that healed it. The nurse doesn't do a healing flip, nor can the Trickster take any damage. It would be thematically right based on the story, and I Don't Want the Friekorps stealing our Tickster!
  20. So, I play a lot of Molly (horror edition), but decided to give Kirai a try since she's just collected dust since I bought her. I often, with Molly, summon Ponto (necrotic machine), even tho he's already on the table, place the new one, and destroy the old one, cause he's rare, and a totem. At 4 wds, and only a point from Molly's summoning pulse, no-one has ever questioned it. Now, with Kirai if I have Ikiryo out, but need her somewhere else on the table, when a model takes damage, can I summon a new Ikiryo in base contact, then sacrifice the first one to appease the rarity, and essentially have off turn moved Ikiryo, healed her, reactivated her, and sloughed off any conditions? I want to do this, but it just doesn't seem right. Thanks for answering, I'm dumb.
  21. okay, so I upset someone by going slightly off-topic and wasting thirty seconds of their life, so several more posts to discuss it makes sense. Anyways, what I'm saying is; Rather than focus on the Jaakuna/Drowned combo for your crew build. Make a general, all-around crew to achieve your strats and schemes. Since you want to use the Jaakuna/Drowned mechanic, and have recognized Molly as being good for that with Forgotten Path, remember, that one of the things that make Molly is so great is that she can summon what is needed, when needed, without corpses, right in the enemies' midst, which is where the combo will take effect. So Just play around with spirit models in general. Popping Drowned out when needed. Moving Jaakuna when necassery. Summoning isn't the easiest thing in this game, as you usually have to trade higher cards and stones for what you want (unless you're Ramos), and Drowned are fairly expensive, requiring a 10, so models that can make you stones would be a great help.
  22. I'm calling this one "Molly's Pool Party". 'Cause I'm stupid. Molly is gonna use corpse markers. I know, right, what!?! The spirits will play their own game of Marco Polo, she'll make more Drowned as needed. I don't know if it will work, haven't played it yet (cause I lack opponents), but I needed to get those new minions in a Molly crew somewhere, and it's got scheme-dropping, horde-making, murder-hobo potential, IMHO. Resurrectionists 50ss Crew Molly Squidpiddge -- 7ss +Forgotten Path - 1ss +Corpse Bloat - 2ss Datsue Ba - 8ss +Spirit Whispers - 1ss +Spirit Beacon - 2ss Shieldbearer - 6ss Shieldbearer - 6ss Shieldbearer - 6ss Jaakuna Ubume - 6ss +Unnerving Aura - 1ss The Drowned - 6ss P.S. Would probably work better with Kirai.....
