  1. They can come from the card you flip or cheat (Only the card you use, not every card), they can be built into the attack or action (like Francisco's Dueling Sword Ml 7 for example) and you can use soulstones to add additional suits. There's also some abilities that add suits like Somer Teeth Jones's Do It Like This tactical action. So let's say Francisco attacks with his sword, spends a soulstone to add a ram and flips a ram card. He now has 3 rams in his final duel total.
  2. Wood fences are soft for us. Tents Forests Bushes Pretty much anything that gives concealment but doesn't stop a bullet
  3. Right, so every model always has to stay near Somer AND Somer has to always activate first? That's pretty limiting. 7 wounds and HtK on a df5 model isn't that hard to remove. Slippery is often not very effective since you need to clump up for it and it's pretty easy to avoid it in melee since the slippery targets need to be legal targets. I don't see you complaining about Johan, a six stone model with 8 wounds, df5 and HtK.
  4. Red text is me. I played in a tournament two days ago and every model I used except the zombie chihuahua had defensive abilities. Hard to wound pretty much everywhere, a little incorporeal here and there. And also some Manipulative and horror. Every opponent I met had a lot of models with defensive abilities.
  5. They are universally accepted just because Wyrd said their extra special and expensive proxies are acceptable. Oh, so a painted Pikachu isn't acceptable (despite the existance of multible malifaux animals that wouldn't look out of place in Pokemon) but an easter bunny and tortoise is acceptable.
  6. I think it's silly that GG have harsh rules on proxies and conversions when Wyrd have released so many proxies. You have to explain what their proxies are so why are they allowed but not mine? I have no idea what the hare in the Tortoise and hare box is a proxy for, or the carnival for example. So either make the rules demand 100% regular miniatures and no Wyrd proxies or make them more open so people get to convert and use other companies miniatures.
  7. If Yin successfully casts Gnawing Fear (the Wp and Ca debuff) on someone then Reva becomes pretty lethal. A Life Drain and a couple of Ethereal Reapings should be able to handle most enemies when they have Wp flips. She looks like a lot of fun, not McMourning level of fun but close.
  8. I'm gonna buy Hoffmans box tomorrow and I'm having trouble deciding on steel or brass as the main colour on the constructs. What do you guys prefer? Any good examples of different colour schemes for constructs?
  9. Here comes some more ressers! Converted Flesh Construct Yin And a nurse Cheers!
  10. @Cate Yes, that's the handler's head. I'm now done with Sonnia Criid's crew. Next up is Lady Justice and her merry friends. Cheers!
  11. Excellent work! Really like those skin tones! How did you do Ryle´s skin?
  12. Thanks! This was a fun and quick sculpting project. Not very good at it but this turned out pretty ok.
  13. I'm working hard on Sonnia's crew (almost finished ) and I figured a witchling handler might be a good idea to have. Since there's no plastic model out yet I thought I could make one myself. Here's my mock-up: I will remove the horns and maybe sculpt a leather helmet like the one the original model have. Is there anything else I should think about adding or changing? Comments are very welcome
  14. Thanks! My current skin recipe uses these colours 1: Base coat with Tallarn Flesh 2: Wash with a mix of Gory Red and Imperial blue. You can choose how warm your shadows will be by using more or less blue. 3: Do multiple highlights with tallarn flesh mixed with kislev flesh. Increase the amount of kislev flesh until it's just pure kislev flesh. 4: Do a final highlight with Kislev flesh mixed with pale flesh.
