  1. Thank you. I actually have fairly shaky hands, but over the last year and a half I have found working with various shades and concentrations of washes has been super forgiving. I'm not sure if it's a common technique, but it's done wonders for my models.
  2. For pigs, I like to do two variations to help me tell them apart on the table. I start with white washed with Vallejo Sepia Wash, dry brush Vallejo basic flesh, then a thinned was of the sepia again / GW Flesh wash, dry brushed Vallejo Salmon, them a thinned flesh again. http://s1072.photobucket.com/user/thebriarandtherose/media/Mobile Uploads/IMG_20160530_221515491_zpslfwp4abb.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 For Gremlins I start white then wash GW Biel-Tan Green then GW Casandora Yellow then Biel-Tan Green. http://s1072.photobucket.com/user/thebriarandtherose/media/Mobile Uploads/IMG_20160603_111020043_zpsp1lqxgjv.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
  3. I was thinking Fingers and an Iron Skeeter parked conveniently out of chatty range for Rampage. Let my opponent do the dangerous work, the swoop in for some Fast/Reckless I Saws It First.
  4. Anyone have any luck using Rambling Diatribe on their own crew? Sure, you reveal your hand, but maybe replace some crap cards and set Earl up with that sometimes elusive scrap marker.
  5. Zipp took Karai in Panicked Flight. Blocked off the center of the board with markers then daisy chained the child to the corner. Burt and an Iron Skeeter on one flank and Raphael and an Iron Skeeter on the other to kill Witchlings. Zipp is impossible to pin down and always where he needs to be. The First Mate pushing models around while eating scheme markers AND cycling through cards like there is no tomorrow, all the while adding stones to the pool, makes him a new standard for me.
  6. You are correct. The card does actually say, "not be taken again via Beacon (by any models in this Crew) until the next Turn." So Sandeep may cast away. They are incorrect. Also, Sandeep is ridiculous good fun. Awesome Arcanist addition.
  7. The First Mate's Menacing Croak specifies pushing 'enemy' models, so no shuffling about your own models there.
  8. In regards to Zipp's 'Zipp Zapper' attack, thetrigger causes a single move followed by a possible second move. Assuming they were within range, would these each allow an attack via The First Mate's 'Pounce' ability (or anyone's, for that matter)?
  9. Tonight I had a steam arachnid swarm within range of the Commands in Wind aura take out Aeslin and The Claw in one activation. Positives to attack and damage with the built in overwhelm trigger were grossly effective.
  10. I can't possibly be the only one who sees François as the spitting image of the man with no name. It's one of the things that drew me to Gremlins.
