What we do is very simple really. Since you could make a fated char with 5 def rendering them combatwise imuum to a lot of the attacks(or low lvl opponents in general) unless you draw a black joker. Our group flips for non fated aswell. Which makes it very tricky and also a lot more dangerous since even the peons and minions in larger numbers are a possible threat (since they can flip 13's aswell, They cannot cheat however). Which inturn you can still see what you need to cheat in order to beat it but it can be lower or higher. Also this goes for skill checks. Otherwise a gambler walks into a bar and simply runs off with 100 scrip, or other such related skills. Now he has to flip against certain non fated chars with difference in stat skills and immediatly brings back a feeling of possible failure instead of simply i need threshold X or Y against the whole room, and wait and save up cards and then do your thing cause nobody can beat you with a 10-13 in your hand. It works for us and it makes the game very unpredictable and a lot more fun. So in short oppenent(GM) flips for def,attack and dmg. Or opposed skills like bewitch and the works. Which brings randomness back to the game instead of static numbering you know when to beat or how. and add their respective stats in the book to the flipped total.

Mine took around 3-4 months to arrive i ordered twice the other was almost half a year.

Taken from Pride365 comment a page before this. From their own kickstarter page. So no it was'nt their purpose to be TTB alone Also even considering IF it was only TTB all the male are still all smaller then the females. So even amongst themselves it doesn't fit.

@ Aaron We are unhappy with!!? You should be unhappy with it to be begin with. We gave you the money (all of us) to even make this happen. And then to basicly use our trust with all that has happened this last year and more. To then just wave it off suddenly as "it fits the purpose". While hiding behind a statement that it's only for TTB all of the sudden is just not right. Hearing criticism really? I want you to adjust this and step up rather then, we are hearing the criticism. Which tbh doesn't get my models in proper scale i'm afraid.

@Doc There have been pictures in this thread alone enough about this. Again you might find 4mm not a problem it seems a lot of us think it is (I do aswell). Your argument simply doesn't hold up, simply cause you say your okay with miniatures being out of scale is not an argument just a preference of some kind. I like precision from a miniatures company that says it produces 32mm herioc not a ranging mm for 32-38 and deems it fit to purpose. If all miniatures companies did it like this they would be very fast out of bussines. And funny enough the old viks who had the same issue got corrected cause wyrd found it not in a proper size or form either to leave it like that (and reimburse people who bought them with a new box). However this being TTB it suddenly becomes okay if they have to send out replacements, which they know they should for people that even made this possible to begin with.

I agree Norton however. You haven't given wyrd your money you helped them create it. Cause they "did'nt" have the money themselves. Officially they have fulfilled their side of the bargin. They created miniatures and sended them out. We presumed the scale would be correct but it is'nt Normally when this happens people "wyrd"(or other companies) in this case set the problem straight by correcting the mold or sprue and send or make the correct items. However due to time constraints on the release of TTB they went with this side of the road. Releasing it and then saying to the people who made it possibly thanks for your money ow here is an old box. Which most people most likely will have. and sorry but the miniatures you actually payed for are fit to purpose in which anyone should see they would'nt be. This is the problem of Kickstarter basicly and wyrd abbusing their trust imo. In sending out a faulty product, even saying its correct or fits the purpose when the male mpm is correctly sized and later the female mpm will be corrected and sold. without having to give us the proper one. This is really really low, and a big warning for any other future "miniatures" based kickstarter if they even ever will do one. Which I think they will anyway.

Its a 32mm upwards to 38mm rpg game. The fact that they did'nt sold em on gencon is that people would get upset if they bought these miniatures in the state they are in. Nothing else. Noticing it when putting them side to side is kinda logical that you notice it then. So why would this be only a problem then? You play those miniatures on a table side to side of each other. I don't get this reasoning nor is it an excuse. They will problaby be fixed some time in the future. But the people that helped creating these models monetary wise will be left with a off-scale product for their troubles.

amazing lol. So that's how it's going to be dealt with. Well what about the male MPM kit then is it too small? So do I get a bigger one for that then? Seriously. Basicly half my pledge is wasted on different size miniatures and your only retort is it "fits the purpose". Well so much for being a proffesional miniatures company.

That pledge was more aimed for two people who both wanted the books and not the minis. So considering you got 2 of everything 1 person is left without a limited deck.

@Ratsmitglied Evidence?? The fact that they did'nt even enter the gencon store is plain enough that they knew it or were aware of it. And at that point should have communicated to us. Also as emperornorton pointed out they should check for this before sending it out, they are an professional bussines. Also when we got them and the word came out 4 days before Gencon. They still did'nt say anything. Getting your ducks in a row for a reply is not even an discussion worth having really. If you recieve a broken or defect product it should be assumed you'll get a proper replacement. Again I don't mind the waiting time if that is needed. However the fact everybody is silent about it from the higher ups, is baffling to say the least. Considering how this kickstarter has been handled with the delays and now even a product that is basicly not correct. Even though it's payed or funded if you will through kickstarter, should not diminish the quality of a product. If they made an error on it and should still be replaced at the least. The fact that there was haste in the sending of it you problaby can blame on Gencon cause they originally wanted it to sell during that time aswell. (which they did and planned for aswell) To make sure that they barely hold out on their obligation, with a few days to spare they sended it out in its current state. I don't own actually any of the metals anymore i sold them off and waited for plastics when i heard they were going for those. However I don't see the point in raising a scale difference or anatomy difference for that matter on a old metal model and a new art styled plastic who carries the anatomy and sizes better. And is basicly a whole being of itself since everything is going plastic. Not to mention the Ronin actually had trouble for being Amazons themselves. @ Sephiroa I don't see a problem while building them as well either untill i place them next to another model and she's a whole head bigger. I find that annoying and it simply doesn't look good on the table. You might find it not important but i do, and since the model should be 32mm herioc and not 38mm herioc it should be corrected.

The fact is they should've done it before the fact and not after. Cause they knew not just suddenly found out. and still shipped it nontheless without saying anything. And the best part is WHY? I mean like i said one post or sentence and a lot of stuff is taken careoff. I don't mind waiting another 3-4 months on a sprue since we waited a year and a half anyway. I just don't understand why a 15 sec post is an issue for them to do before Gencon has little to do with it at this point. And even then 1 post supposed to be not a problem. Then just letting people find it out like they have now. It's stupid.

maybe we will maybe we don't. They should if you ask me. But this will most likely be until like end of year. it should'nt have been shipped like this to begin with. It's not really that hard from either Justin or whatever A-list person to post a reply. Sorry it happened we sended them out anyway and when and if there will be a correct scaled sprue the backers will get one. Tada all done and a lot of bad blood circumvented. Now it's just looking like i am being made an idiot and a fool for trusting these people.

Got my stuff today aswell. As anticipated offscale it is funny how the gencon store only offers the male sprue who knew right.......

3 cheers for Gen Con haste, and no heads up or communication for the people that kicked these models in the first place. Yay we have a defective/faulty product for our efforts/kickstarter and waiting. That's almost if not a total head size difference in the scale. Which is all fine and dandy, but then again if they checked these and any normal person can see this, they should've/would've known so either not shipping these models out at all or in a 2nd shipping or giving atleast an headsup.

Concerning really that all? They shipped everything out, so that they are able too sell it for Gencon. I mean any miniatures company should and would know this yet they did'nt comment on it and hoping on what? That we will be missing it? I find this bad and disgusting. Atleast they could've said well some and most likely all boxes have this issue and for the people who will be shipped this item they can contact us if they want a correct one later on when it's there if ever. But again they chose willingly chose for a no communication policy. On the Boxes well i only need ramos then but that's not their problem either and i don't mind it that much it makes a nice gift to someone else. However i wonder if I even wanna promote it :S
