Hey all, We will be capping off our 5 week Hardcore League with a Hardcore Tournament! You do NOT need to have participated in the League for you to play in this! It would just be cool if you did! Our Standard Hardcore Rules will be in effect, and we will be running a single Strategy and scheme for the whole event. More details to follow!

Hey all, Hobby Quest Games is going to be hosting a 5 week league of Malifaux Hardcore starting on the 9th of November. League Fee will be 8$ for the full 5 weeks. (Hobby Quest Games, 633 Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont, CO) We will be using the Hardcore crew selection rules and will be switching it up with different strategies and schemes every week. 2 games per week! League Score sheet will be at Hobby Quest Games, alongside the Achievement List for each week! For those of you who are not in the know (for shame!) Malifaux Hardcore plays like this: - 20SS crew (so Henchmen lead) - locked in at Henchman cache (no adding to it) - must have 4 models - no summoning - all unspent SS are wasted - Games are 30 minutes Rd 1 will be Standard: - Turf War Strategy - Assassinate Scheme - Close Deployment Your crew and henchman are selected on a week-to-week basis, but you cannot change during a week's games. Prizes will go to Best General (best differential), Best Painted Crew and Most achievements. The league will culminate into a Tournament on the 14th of December (what would be Wk6 of the league). Attendance to the tournament is not dependent on League Participation.

Then come on down! This event is geared towards newer or struggling players. We will have some vets on hand to help out with general strategy and such, as well as judging. Prizes for Master-in-Training (top ranked), Desperate Merc (lowest ranked) and Artificer (best painted).

When the Cerberus is away, the Rats will play... Alright people, I've been a little lax in getting stuff organized of late, but that ends now! Hobby Quest Games in Longmont will be hosting it's very first Henchman Bash. 10$ entrance fee, all goes to prize support. The Henchman Bash runs pretty closely to your usual Gaining Grounds type deal. With a few exceptions: - single list format - 30SS max - limit 1 Henchman as your Leader (no other Henchmen allowed) - no mercenary cost for 1 mercenary - Schemes and Strats will be drawn and determined from the Story Encounters (this will also mitigate the single list format). Strat will be pre-determined for each table and deployment for each round. Proxies: For unreleased crews - models must make sense thematically and player must provide proxy list to myself and opponents upon request For released crews - same as above, but players should be ready with alternatives if list proves confusing for opponent. We will also be hosting a Single Model painting competition on the day, for those participating in the tournament. I will have 4-5 back-up crews for people who wanna play but who don't have legitimate crews to play this format. I would like to try and avoid having leaders doubled up, so when you sign up, PICK YOUR HENCHMAN. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!!!!

Hey all, We are gaming, painting and assembling all afternoon at Hobby Quest. As it turns out, most people get games haphazardly during the week and just use Sunday to work on their projects and building and painting their shinies. Come on down to join the fun! Matt the store owner is a bonafide Golden Demon winner and is always happy to help with paint and we have a fair few guys in our community who have built tons of the new, beautiful, fiddly plastic M2E kits. Hobby Quest Games in Longmont will be hosting a 40SS Malifaux tournament on Sunday the 23rd of February.
