  1. Two huge mistakes here: - Making this Guild - Making this Limited Ed. Holy cow.
  2. To me Zipp looked smaller maybe I compare him to Merris Lacroix, or it's just the group shot
  3. I'm more surprised by Ht2 than by Insignificant
  4. Yup, I agree on the intention, and the Breaking the Rules Box, but the examples always relate to the player cheating her own flips. IMO, to break the rule and expand "cheating" to an enemy flip, the wording should at least spell out "enemy damage flips" or "all damage flips, as if they were their own", since the possibility to cheat one's own damage flips against one's own models already exists. Otherwise, implied "friendly or enemy" might be added also to other special instances of cheating too, it's just for better clarity
  5. May I say that since cheating is (Da Rules, pag 19 or so) the act of a model replacing its own flip total, the wording sounds like she can cheat damage flips against her, when she is the model performing the damage flip, and not what it actually seems RAI? Maybe it should go like "When a damage flip is performed against this model, this model may discard a card. The value of the discarded card is the new damage flip result." Or is it just me, misunderstanding?
  6. I would marry the artwork, and then give myself to him. I'm quite worried about the render, though...
  7. Actually, you've just highlighted the reason why Mech Rider summoning and the loss of HtK are strongly tied together, while trying to say the opposite: it was unfair that a model summoned that easily, with -2Wds, didn't die from a 4Dg strike. That said, now that they are more or less as resilient as a Steam Arachnid (which has Armor +1 vs. MG Armor +2, but also Df6 vs. MG Df5, and immunity to all Pulse Damage) BUT, the Arachnid has better mobility (Wk5 + Unimpeded vs. MG Wk4, and Magnetism which is very situational, especially when you are the provider of Target Construct...), better Wp (Wp6 vs. MG Wp4), and two working effects (Latch on and Swarm together), would asking for a more usable PoM(which, the very opposite of Latch on that gets the opponent in positioning trouble, gets in trouble the user himself), or what I said in my previous post, really be so unreasonable?
  8. I find a cuddle strike ok. Less the way it's been done. All of a sudden MG needed to lose: Hard to KillThe possibility of using their Rg3' PoM on themselves, spending 1Ap and raising Df by 1 until EoGThe possibility of having auto-Burning +2 on their Ml4 Rg1' Attack ActionThe possibility of using PoM upon a friendly Metal GaminAnd stop. They're balanced. I'm not satisfied at all. I don't question they were over the top. They were. But they aren't done as they're now. +1 on their Ml Attack, to make it usable, a slightly better Rg on PoM to make it usable, now that it actually can only target other models, +1Wk, +1Wd. Whatever minimal improvement, to give them back something to be good at, and not just make this Errata look like "A ton of cuts to this model, as it was the main game breaker that slipped through the Beta by now". Is the problem Mech Rider summoning them for free? Fix that darn summoning. It WILL get an Errata, because it WILL. And it can stand one. I don't want to see this backfire again and again. Has a Mei Feng hired MG spam Crew ever been mentioned? No. Why? Why has a 8Wds Hard to Wound Ca8 luring 5ss Rotten Belles one, instead? A more measured cuddle was quite enough, for their thematic, hired use with the slow moving Rail Crew. Fixing an imbalance by over-aggressing an element different from the main problem is a poor choice, IMO. I'd like to recall the first Beta when the Rail Crew, again, lost every efficient way to put the Burning Condition -they benefit from- on other models, just because of the Rail Golem. And just to see 6x more effective models with this power showing up, inevitably, a bit later in Wave 2. I hope that the matter will be dealt with in a better way, because I'm no MG hooligan, I'd just like to see better solutions being developed when this kind of issues get addressed.
  9. I think that many new models were improved and I find them awesome, when they get flattened, instead, I fail to see the reason. The new Gunsmiths and the new Guild Guards, both their looks moved towards a 'standard', when their original looks couldn't be more different. And the mechanical limbs on desperate merc and union miners, they surely have a reason to have them, but they worked as well without, leaving it be a more unique characteristic on named models. I am more curious than annoyed
  10. Kang being The Workers' Hero, and not being able to lead 99% of the mines and foundry crowd, not even those who follow Leveticus and Hoffman without beating an eye
  11. I like these SE models a lot Not sure all 4 of them will be free bonuses, though, as last year Sniper, Gremlin, Performer and Bete were 3 Minions and 1 Enforcer. This time they'd be 3 Henchmen and one Master. Bonus escalation, or will they just sell them?
  12. Agreed! I'd definitely prefer a bullet-list of releases grouped by expected dates. The site is really slow on my phone for some reason, and the arrow buttons were very slow to respond. Thumbnails are nice, but links to pictures are fine too, so the page can load quicker. I agree. The site is indeed very slow and the arrows don't respond well. I quote too. On phone screen, it only shows 2 images, but after clicking the arrow (quite a bit after, actually), it slides 4 images forward, making it impossible to see 1 or 2 images inbetween (Tuco between Angelica and Sue remained a mistery until I opened the page on pc)
  13. This. All of the previous Newsletters' images look like they're gone, and lately also the images uploaded by Ratty and Aaron don't show up anymore, even by using the change address trick (wyrd-games.net to themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com, man I typed this damn address entirely so many times lately, I'm starting to hate it xD). This leaves us with countless unserviceable pages and shares (like 2010 to present day), starting with all of the Monday Previews and the GenCon Releases article http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/topic/109517-upcoming-releases-and-gencon/ http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/forum/268-monday-previews/ Bump! Seriously Aaron, we're missing a lot of images! Please, host them again somewhere, googlin' & hopin' someone else rehosted them, each time I want to show/watch something, is being a nightmare Looks like I've been posting in the wrong place to be read, so this ^ And another couple of things missing: - Rotten Harvest 2013 http://www.malifaux.com/RottenHarvest - A new bunch of broken links from the change ".../community/topic/..." to just ".../topic/...", but eventually Search Engines will figure out this one in a while
