  1. or maybe it is just two different versions that work differently. ..Just like not all of the same conditions stop at the same time.
  2. Brutal Effigy is an auto include for me. If you do include The Witchling Handler you open up for pretty much any model in the Guild. Pathfinder is also a good buy as the traps make for a very effective starting point for Sonnia´s Flame burst (WP 6 means for the lady). Also if you like targeting your own models then an Oiran could be an interesting add on (+1 WP for friendly living models) as it brings a lot of models up to 6 Wp. The Child as a totem brings extra utility so might be a good change from the Flame. Generally Sonnia is very versitlle so she works with most models...
  3. I would guess a "grow list" with Lucius and Nekima would work?
  4. Don´t forget that Guild Guards also have Menace which can affect Lilith from a distance.
  5. Interesting..I use a different but similar strategy. 1. Use Colodi to give all puppets Focus. 2. Use Brutal to give support condition for every Puppet. 3. Vasilisa walks/picks up Stitched Together and bring it to either a scheme marker place or to negate the opposing players sceme runner. 4. Use Vasilisas (0) Action to get the stiched to either gamble you life (with Focus) or place a scheme marker. If a scheme marker is placed I get a free 4" move with Vasilisa. 5.When I activate The Stiched I get Fast and either attack target with mass Gamble or use Focus to get of 1-2 focused attacks or place a scheme marker (with again a free Vasilisa move). Used this way Vasilisa + Stiched can move around the board every turn, supporting where is needed. I am also a fan of using two henchmen, so I combine Vasilisa with the Widow Weaver for some additional move. The downside about this is that you have to keep an eye on when you need Vasilisa and her "Strum the threads".
  6. Mimic`s Blessing should help a bit in that situation...but yea have the same problem.
  7. The new wave 2 general upgrades seems to be missing from the crew creator, or at least those for Neverborn and Guild (the only ones I have checked).
  8. For those who think it is to expensive to buy the whole deck and only use a few of the cards...there are a few other options. 1. Share the cost/cards with another new player. 2. Buy the cards as singles. There are a link somewhere on the forum for one who sells single cards. Anyway, for the majority it is not too expensive, even though it might be irritating.
  9. 1. Flamewall is your friend...with a certain totem you can get two walls off per turn. 2. As Dirial stated; do not attack Perdita directly. Use other closeby enemy models or friendly models to get blast off. Pathfinders trap is perfect for the job (WP 6). 3. If you really want to, you can target Perdita with Sonnia using her +2 CA boost...combined with a bonus flip from perditas high WP it helps a bit.
  10. Yea, Counterspell doesn´t work..but Disrupt Magic does
  11. Ryle combined with the Brutal Effigy makes for a very good combo. A second Henchman like Judge offres quite a lot of support. Contructs work well in combination with Ryle, but you are not really restricted in what you pick for crew members.
  12. Reincarnation actually kicks in when Burning enemy model reaches 0 wounds..not when Killed. So I guess depending on who are the Acting model Sonnia could actually summon from Bete Noir before she disappered again. This makes Disrupting Magic a even better choice
  13. You could use a Witchling Handle in a Sonnia Crew, to bring out 2x Witchlings as well
  14. Unless I missed something, You kind of answered your own question?
