  1. Yeah, I can see that. It wasn't until after I made my purchase I realized it was the case. Could anyone shed some light on why this restriction would be put in place?
  2. Awesome feedback. Much appreciated. I'm glad to hear that the combo will provide a fun match up!
  3. So I snagged Seamus and Belles (and Hanged, Grave Spirit, and Carrion Effigy) and my friend picked up Rasputina and friends to learn the game. After learning that Seamus can struggle versus non-living/non-undead, I'm concerned this could be a bad match up? Any advice for our first matches?
  4. I adore this model, so regardless of his perceived value I'm happy to have added him to my collection. But I haven't seen much discussion surrounding him. Is this because the Grave Spirit is so good/preferable? Is the Carrion Effigy considered a totem when I add him to my forces? (since I can't add a totem with his inclusion) Is there any significance to the Special Forces designation he's attributed? I also picked up the Red Chapel Gang Box Set, The Hanged, and Grave Spirit. I feel like, depending on my matchups, his immunity removal debuff could be key. How do yo think he fits in with my current set up? Thanks in advance for anyone willing to shed some light on this for a newb.
  5. Looking to (finally) make my purchase this week, including: Red Chapel Gang Grave Spirit Totem The Hanged Carrion Effigy (I just gotta have this model) Any other advice? Seems like Canine Remains are commonly regarded as auto-includes, but more so for Nico and McMourn? Oryno, suitable sub for The Hanged? I really like those models more (dead hooker a la Geisha).
  6. I began miniature wargaming less than 2 years ago, with PP's Trollbloods. So, it goes without saying my motivation stems as much from attractive models as table-top performance. While the models attracted my gaze to Malifaux, after picking up and reading through the rulebook a few times, I'm now genuinely looking forward to swapping my dice for a deck of cards. I was instantly attracted to Seamus, his appearance, theme, and starter box. I've been pulling someone's finger for a couple weeks too, and I think I'll be adding The Hanged and a Grave Spirit. Other models I'm thematically interested in are Nurses, Dead Doxies, and Bete Noir. And the Avatar of Seamus seems like a no Brainer, I love the model, and he doesn't cost SS to include? So, I can just (if I meet the prerequisites) choose to bring him into a game any time I choose to? Any feedback or advice for a new player? If you didn't catch my earlier reference, I have been reading the Pull My Finger Wiki. And although it appears excellently written and composed, I sometimes prefer authentic feedback since some of the terminology and game mechanics are still unfamiliar (I'm a n00b).
