  1. Yes, The luggage as rouge necromancy. Most enjoyable fifteen minutes of sculpting I have had in ages. Its not perfect but good enough to play with. Some strange fluids on the side of the base is good for you. And another proxy model I uses with my girls finished.
  2. She is? Those humongous things looks more like armbands then anything else. Edit: Ill look into it when I go through all models again as I look for things I miss.
  3. The way Im painting skin now days actually helps with the eyes for me. Previously I've painted the eyes last and yelled at it. The yelling helped, unfortunately not with the paint job. Now days I paint the eyes first and adds the white to the sides of the pupil. Then paint all the skin details in a dark brown as a base to layer up from. I recommend you to try it. Its fast and simple with a great result. Just be careful while painting around the eyes.
  4. There are still some details left on the table. Mainly to hide the base I used as a, well, base of the table. I want some bottles on the table an other things. I just don't know how to make them yet. Anyone have any ideas how to make a miniature bottle or what else should be on the table?
  5. Alright, dancing is a part of my showgirls. However wyrd are bad at giving movement and life to their models. But to their defense they've gotten a lot better lately. I foremost thinking about the Alternative models and some of the Avatar models. Anyhow, I found this one and wanted her.I don't know what she'll be a proxy for but that have never stopped me before. A fact that Rogue Necromancy found out as it was and will forever be proxied by the Luggage from the Discworld universe. Now, where was I? Oh right, dancing girl. I started painting it with the skin layering technique I've started using with Colette. I haven't gone back since. I love it. To think less then two months ago I was using washes and highlights only. Damn. The skin is almost complete here. Now time for the clothes or what there is of them. Finished with some red added to the skin and the toes and fingernails got some purple nail polish on them.
  6. Alright. I've been busy and haven't had time to do anything. Well, I have prepared the Coryphee and played with my girls and tried Molly. I found that I liked her... A lot. Anyway, Coryphee. I drilled and put magnets in them because.. you know. The duet. The magnet looks horrid on it and after trying with a smaller one which worked, but made it wobble like a party girl around four in the morning. So I had to use a larger one. but it pained me. After destroying her heel with a knife to fit the magnet I though I had to give her flower as a token of my regrets. A table... *What I will do with this table will be showed after this intermission*
  7. Ah, a fast paint job. I always approve of armies being fully painted but the pistol wraiths are horrendous, maybe some more middle tones between the two so that it does not look like its melting ice-cream. Highlights and shadows with the aid of washes so that everything would not look quite as flat would help as well. But as it is an commission my opinions does not matter. But I like the cryx menoth idea.
  8. One tips I can see directly is to clean your models a bit better with knives and sandpaper. A model needs a good foundation for a good paint job. And don't be scared to mix the paints a little when it comes to skin and clothes. or to water down paints to use as washes! Also the paint layers are a bit thick, try to make them a bit thinner by adding a little bit of water in the paint.
  9. Thanks! White is indeed great... *especially if all my other armies are dark or black. Makes my girls a little special. Anyhow, comments. Yay! ------ Finally my Angelica and Coryphee arrived. I couldn't wait and started drilling my coryphee with magnets and modifying them a little bit. But that comes at a later date because I haven't had time to paint them yet. But here is Angelica drilled and base coated. I changed my way of painting skin after trying it on Colette. Its a bit embarrassing but I fell in love with it. I painted the skin on three other models in addition to Angelica. I felt that I had no excuse not to paint them as well. and here is the finished version, or at least game ready. I might add some scrolls to her when inspiration strikes.
  10. Alright, gaming night again, Delta Green this time and that mean another painted model. Yay! Primed and drill have been made beforehand so all I needed to do was to start with the blue shadows. Damn I like when I remember to prepare models. I usually forget to do so except when it comes to smoothing them out before spraying. Looking good, I choose a steampunk mad female scientist to be my... let say female Ramos. Fine, I just liked the model and as my prop maker on for the Colette crew and their show. Its not my fault wyrd hasn't filled that position yet. She made a steampunk prop that is a moon with clouds? I am almost sure of that fact. And finally. I said that I would get a better picture of Colette.... and probably failed gain.
  11. I am continuing testing things on the scene. The first try of the curtains failed miserably. So I am currently pondering on that conundrum. I decided to make the entire curtain piece removable for the test and will do that on the full version as well. But I don't quite know how I will plan that. And a model I've been tinkering with for a while now.
  12. Just a image of GW40k Sister of Battle model. Still waiting for Coryphee.
  13. You didn't want to play today because of this? geez. Edit: I still like the British Union jack shirt punk zombie. Reminds me of the 1980 for some reason.
  14. and here the finished model after a non photo taking jump. I added lots of gold in it at the hems and shoulders to show her master status. And them as a group... I WANT THE CORYPHEE TO ARRIVE!!! and I need to take a better photo of Colette
