So, having dropped out of gaming for a while, I decided to jump back in. Got the new book, and Nellie is just calling to me. I've been looking for some tips, tricks, tactics, etc to kind of kick-start my crew building, but I can't find any. My usual sources (pullmyfinger, etc) don't have anything. So, I'm basically looking for some tips. What models are great, good, and bad with her, what other people use, basically anything. I'm especially interested in things to take advantage of evidence, I think its a cool mechanic. Not new just dropped out for a while.

The squeal trigger is one of the big problems. I can indeed get a vik into combat. They then squeel away, and proceed to shoot the balls off of everything. Think I may try Tara against him.

Playing with about 1/3-1/2 the table covered. I have everything available to Outcasts. I played in M1, and always played outcasts and did well with them, so when the pretty new models came out, I started rebuying all my Malifaux. I usually play Viktorias, Tara, and Leveticus with a smattering of Hamelin. Haven't really busted into Jack Daw or Von Schill yet (I only play with painted stuff, they're still on the table). As far as trouble masters, the only two I have legitimate trouble with are Misaki (that damn Smoke Bombs upgrade) and Ophelia. Everyone else I can at least do something against. Valhallan42nd: Tara 6 shot counter sniper list? Never heard of such a thing.

So, what are people's solutions for playing against her? Regardless of who I play, it seems, I just get shot off the board before I really get to do anything. Between Rami sniping someone off first activation, Ophelia blowing away 1-2 people a turn, Merris lighting me on fire, Rafael going bonkers, and all the rest, I can't seem to do anything. Super frustrated, and I had to walk away from the last game. I don't mind losing, but against her and Misaki, I don't even get to play the game.

Related. Is there some confirmation you're supposed to get? I've tried twice, and was rerouted to the store home. Was nervous to try again, as I'm worried about getting charged more than once. Be super bummed if I can't get my Leveticus. Have gotten no email or anything.

Didn't have aMcM. Well, still don't. I overextended with McMourning and Misaki ganged him with Yamakizo, 10T Brother, Tokarage, and Shang. To Mickey's credit, it did finally take Misaki's last AP to bring him down. Unfortunately, after killing my beatstick, he proceeded to slaughter the rest of my crew. Highlight: Rotten Belle going beserk and killing a 10T brother, Tokarage, and 5 wounds on Misaki before going down (juvenile giggle). Maybe I'll introduce Misaki to Leveticus. I just didn't play him in the challenge because everyone at the store whines "oh, he does how much damage?" Maybe I'll quit being so nice to him.

Hey, Got a league match tomorrow, for the championship. 40ss, slaughter. I've got to use McMourning, and was just looking for maybe a little input on the list. He'll be using Misaki, probably Misaki, Ottoto, Yamaziko, 10T Archers, and Tokarage (maybe shang too). McMourning- 8 pool -Zombie Chihuahua 1 -2 Canine Remains 2 (4) -Dead Rider 10 -2 Rotten Belles 4 (8) -3 Punk Zombies 5 (15) Remains will end up as Flesh Constructs by the time combat is met, while trying to jockey for best position to get Misaki in range for a Dissection and some attacks.

Yeah. Used him against Viks. Ronin charged, missed, turned into SPA. Who then combined with the other 3 SPAs to turn into a Desolation Engine that ate Von Schills face.
