  3. Trying to get into McMourning2 and this quote is sticking with me. Was there some cheeky way to get the dog killed I can't think of? Or will I have to just beat it to death or hope my opponent does.

  5. If a model passes the Wp test to get out of the coffin, where does it pop up exactly? The wording is specifically "If it passes, Unbury it into base contact with a friendly Marshal or Coffin Marker within 3" of this model." Does that mean a coffin within 3 or a marshal just anywhere? Or a coffin within 3 or a marshal within 3?
  6. Her defense is indeed garbage. If you find yourself in a match where you suspect she's going to get assaulted, consider bringing a few Seishin along. They do pretty good support work in the early turns, then can be used for protected fodder when the time comes. Since they have "Expendable" the interaction is almost entirely up side for you, ignoring the hit and cycling a card in return for a 2ss model.
  7. Schtook's summon process is a bit odd. He gives an upgrade to one of his students, them when THAT student kills something, it summons a new student for you.
  8. Could use some help with this. Rogue necromancy shoots some vomit at a model perched at the edge of a ht 3 cliff. At the base of same cliff is Kaeris (who is ht 2). Do the blasts from the vomit hit Kaeris? Since the rules say the blasts go "up and down one inch" we assumed yes, but I got kind of stuck on placing the blasts "in base contact" but hovering in space.
  9. Is there something I'm missing? Corpse conductor gives bonuses to undead models, the grave golem is a construct.
  10. This came up in the context of Prof. Von Schtook Stargazer. A few high level players are claiming that Lessons Learned applies to soul stone prevention flips and healing flips because those are "duels". Those are just flips, right? Have I seriously misunderstood the definition of duels?
  11. Ehh... Catch and release requires that the model wasn't replaced with one of a higher cost. The coryphee WAS replaced by a model of higher cost, THEN the replaced again. I don't think it qualifies anymore.
  12. With the news posted today about the "crew(X)" keyword on upgrades, I think it's safe to say that dabblers WILL get access to the upgrade in a Bayou crew. Still not sure if they're good or not, but at least they aren't fundamentally flawed.
  13. Id probably have started a new topic on this instead of reviving such and old dead one. The way I do it is by positioning the template so one edge hangs over the initial target, then checking to see if the thing I want to blast onto is in the circle (doesn't have to be completely) on the other side.
  14. Do you know the deployment in guard the stash? It feels like it's going to have a huge impact in how you play it. In standard/wedge deploy you need to control the two middle points AND both of your opponents points by end of 5, but in corner/flank deploy you can get by only holding the 4 centerline points.

  16. Ran into a fun one. Built a crew, them tried to adjust the SS limit down and accidentally tried to go below the total crew cost. If you use the +/- buttons, you get the pop up in the title one time. If you use the slider, you get infinite pop ups that keep showing up till you quit the program. (might not actually be infinite, but I quit the app after a few minutes and it was still going.)
  17. Personally, that bird does a really good impression of Sovereign (Anya's giant death metal bird totem), which means that model is almost definitely Kin since I think ALL the imitators are Kin.
  18. Title says it all. The app has the current starter cards (kirai, Sonia, etc) but the web based one doesn't. Hoping it's an easy fix.

So a friend of mine is running multiple Vatagi huntsman and I'm confused as to how the aura applies from "Set up the kill" So normally when looking at multiple instances of the same aura, it only prevents stacking if the same model is being effected by multiple auras of the same name. But who is the model actually being effected here? The Apex model getting the free attack or the model that's getting attacked? In short, if a model is standing in multiple Huntsman auras, how many cards do they discard and how many attacks do they take?
  20. I feel like your Join Us example is backwards. If one Urami moved through multiple models, they all test. But if multiple Urami move through a single model, it's only one test. That's the implication of the language. It's not crystal clear wording though.
  21. I guess? Trigger Finger already only lets one model make the attack, so the LOS shenanigans could prevent the second Trigger generated attack from happening easily.
  22. Just want to get back to this because this line confuses me. Drop it specifically stats the marker HAS to be in LoS, so it would trip the attacking Bandido's aura every time, is there some extra rule I'm missing here?
  23. Looking at Steal the Show (new guild strategem), it doesn't have any restrictions about the reactivating model not generating tactics tokens (like Lion Among Gazelles does). Does that mean I could pick my commander and generate tokens? Or is there some additional language I'm missing.
  24. I'm having trouble getting & to work in card search to look for multiple terms. Is it working for anyone else?
