  1. Aaron, what's the estimated price point for a setup like that?
  2. I hope it turns out to be worth playing Seamus for. At this point, I'll take anything that actually gives Seamus table time... I'm cautiously optimistic
  3. I've got 5-6 games under my belt with Molly, and so far I've focused on summoning Punk Zombies for melee, Drowned for scheme markers, and her totem to tie up enemy models. Once or twice I summoned a Rotten Belle just because I had the specific card.
  4. I played Seamus over the weekend at Adepticon, and at every turn, I just thought to myself "I wish I had taken this other master instead", for all the reasons listed here.
  5. Yeah, Phillip and the Nanny does what you want for just 8 SS. You can give him up to two upgrades, though. I prefer Haunting Cries and My Little Helper, so 9 SS. Much better than paying the 12 SS for the two Bloodwretches! I almost always use two Necropunks with Phillip. They deploy within 6 of him, then drop a scheme each, leap, and drop another scheme. Phillip will be set for a while, and can just hang back and cycle cards for me.
  6. I've pulled some nasty stuff on @sinistercats with my favorite master, Reva. And yes, I agree - it's all in your head. Accept the fact that I will most likely kill at least a thing a turn, and make sure to try to dictate WHAT I get to kill. Do not rely on Soulstones or armor as an Arcanist, as I will take the necessary upgrades to ignore both if my opponent declares Arcanists. As someone else said, don't go all out on corpse removal, as I can generate enough to get by and then some. Definitely try to remove a few from a key area you need to be in, but it won't be possible to remove all of them. And take the fight to Reva as fast as possible. Myranda shapeshifting into a Blessed of December is not a bad idea I had that happen to me once, and I lost Reva. It was early in my Reva career.
  7. I will be trying out @Fetid Strumpet and @Gnomezilla's lists tomorrow evening. Very excited!
  8. Thanks for the tips. I did buy both the Graveyard Spirit Jaakuna Ubume a while ago and haven't had the time to use them. Might as well be in HH! Thanks, guys. @Gnomezilla Mother of God, I forgot about Vincent and the Shieldbearers. I should give that a try! It's a little spammy imo, but it sounds like a ton of fun!
  9. How does that work out? How do you use each piece? What are the list's strengths and qeaknesses in your experience?
  10. We're doing some HH soon. Any tips? I haven played much of that format, but I'm thinking Valedictorian or Toshiro, a Punk Zombie, a Dead Doxy (to push the Punk Zombie, then maybe a Rotten Belle. Thoughts? Tips?
  11. Collodi - Fated - Strum the Threads - Threads of Fate Marionette x2 Illuminated Stitched Together Mysterious Effigy Arcane Effigy Brutal Effigy Hodgepodge Effigy Shadow Effigy Mannequin 4 SS left, 7 SS cache Thoughts? Too fragile? I'm considering just putting another Marionette in there, but a 4 SS cache is a little low for my usual taste. I could replace one Effigy with a Stitched, or the Stitched with another Illuminated. I love, love, love the Effigies. I think they're great just because they're cheap, somewhat durable, and can really tailor Collodi's crew with their buff. Depending on what I need in a given moment, I'd use the Brutal Effigy's buff as the primary buff to use (to get Fast for 2 damage then hopefully heal it back up). If I go for a lower cache, I'd use the Hodgepodge's buff one turn to try and recover some stones. If I absolutely need to kill something, I'll go for the Arcane's Burning buff. Either I kill a vital target, or I kill their hand to avoid Burning damage. Win/win.
  12. I would never have thought about that myself. Suddenly my old metal Rogue Necromancy jumped to the top of my build queue!
  13. Necropunks are great for Stake a Claim. Get in position, put down a counter, then leap away to place a counter next turn. That's the gist of it.
  14. You can't hire the Voodoo Doll as it is Zoraida's personal totem. Not even Collodi's Puppet Friends overrides this.
  15. If only we could give Reva Recalled Training. ... what?
  16. If only they'd focus on Puppet Wars instead... even if it were through a KS!
  17. Unfortunately not! A master's Conflux can be attached to any Emissary the master can hire (relevant for dual faction masters). Since Collodi is solely a Neverborn master, the only Emissary he can hire is the Mysterious Emissary.
  18. Yin with My Little Helper is the the bee's knees for me. MLH helps draw an extra card (since Reva wants to discard one per turn), and gives her an extra shot at getting Gnawing Fears off during that one crucial turn! The Carrion Emissary is, sadly, an auto include for me too. That one free zombie is totally worth it, and I give him MLH too. The extra card during a key turn is worth it for me, and 2x Shards when you really need it is nice.
  19. As I said I'm not really looking to expand my collection just now. I didn't intend to play 10T, but I do play Resurrectionists and Neverborn - and I have both Yan Lo and Jacob Lynch. Months ago I was starting Arcanists and got Mei Feng's crew box+4 Metal Gamin+a Rail Golem, and I still had them laying around even after I got rid of my other Arcanists stuff. After I realized I had three 10T masters, and being exposed to the nasty things a Shadow Emissary (and 10T Bros) can do in a Lynch crew, I decided to just get the Emissary and two Bros and call it a day. This is great as I prefer going "in theme" more than being competitive (I know, I know) haha. I was offered a translucent Wild Ones box but declined since I already have enough masters. However, being a weak man, I picked up McCabe's box at a sale... I have two metal Guild Hounds with M2E cards, but I'm considering just getting the plastic box as it's very cheap. Between the four masters' boxes, Izamu, Toshiro, etc. I'm thinking that should be enough to give me a solid foundation for McCabe. Anyway, enough backstory. Back to the topic. You all gave me some great advice about Mei Feng. Since I'm just starting out playing her, would you say going for as many constructs as possible is a good place of departure? I'm pretty much looking at her, the Emberling, the Emissary, the Rail Golem, a 10T bro and a Wastrel (or 2 Bros), and I would fill the rest of the points with one Rail Worker and 1-2 Metal Gamin. I would aim for a cache of at least 5, but up to 7. It's pretty much my playstyle to start the game with a full cache, as it helps mitigate mistakes! Bear in mind this is just for casual games, no competitive games at all. I will use her and Lynch in a tournament in late February, but I will still consider the games kinda casual. Thanks!!!
  20. It's better than the current, flat model, but it's too anime/Age of Sigmar for me.
  21. Damn it guys, I'm so excited to play Mei Feng now! Better order a box of Komainu, I think.
  22. I definitely should just get my act together and get the Komainu. My primary faction is Resurrectionists, and I do own Toshiro. I forgot to list him, Yin, Izamu, and Chiaki. Thanks for the tips! I do want to give the MechChop some table time at some point, though being new to Mei Feng I think there are a few other things I want to use first
  23. Hi all, My local community has an awesome-looking event coming up in the end of February, and I've decided to go with the Ten Thunders. I originally bought Mei Feng for my Arcanists that I ended up dropping, as well as Jakob Lynch for my Neverborn. I picked up McCabe during my LGS' recent holidays sale because I'm weak. Sorted by theme, my collection consists of the following: Mei Feng Emberling Kang 3 Rail Workers Rail Golem Mechanized Porkchop 3 Metal Gamin Jakob Lynch Hungering Darkness 3 Illuminated 2 Beckoners 2 Stitched Together 2 Depleted McCabe Luna Sidir Alchibald 3 Wastrels 2 Guild Hounds Shadow Emissary 2 Ten Thunders Brothers. As we're required to pick two masters, I will run Mei Feng and Jakob Lynch at the event. My question is, what does Mei Feng like? In short, I haven't played Mei Feng yet but I know what she does and I know her tricks. I am just not sure how to make a list with her with the above. I pretty much add her with Seismic Claws, Vapormancy, and Recalled Training in all my lists, followed by the Emberling and Shadow Emissary with the Conflux of Combat (this one is staying!). Then I add either Kang (for anti Resurrectionists or Arcanists) or the Rail Golem (because I love my model and it seems like a ton of fun). Finally, I just fill out the remaining points with Rail Workers and Metal Gamin. Should I be bringing one or two of my 10T Bros? Wastrels? They're both cheap and potentially awesome, but without Lynch's card tricks I'm not sure if they would fit with Mei Feng. Any thoughts, tips, and tricks are appreciated! I should add that I'm not looking to expand my 10T collection at this point. Thanks in advance!
  24. Workable as a starter list, but I would consider getting a Nurse in there! She's so good for Poison. Deploy her between the Flesh Construct and McMourning, and give them both Poison +4. Next turn, walk her up and give more Poison to something
