Mystery Of the Tyrant’s Heart ‘I heard that it’s the size of a melon’ Gryff whispered. ‘Bigger is what I heard’ said McMurphy ‘If there was a soulstone that size, the Governor would have had it years ago’ snarled Smith. The 3 men were huddled in the inn, gathered in the glow of the fir in the corner of the room. While they tried to keep their conversation clandestine, it was one the several groups around the pub were having. The rumours of the largest soulstone ever found in Malifaux had been circulating for weeks. The story had attracted new fortune hunters through the Breach and there were more new faces in the city than ever before, all asking the same question. Where could such an item be found? ‘One thing is for certain, someone knows where it is..’, all 3 men grunted and nodded. Such a gem could shift power among the factions and change the face of Malifaux for ever………. The Mystery Of the Tyrant’s Heart is the 3rd event to be run at Marshall Towers by the #tractormassive. It is a weekend supposed to be about fun and social enjoyment more than the competitive edge you get at other tournaments. This years event see’s the players trying to figure out which of the masters of Malifaux knows the secret location of the Tyrant’s Heart, a soulstone of legendary size and power. Through the weekend’s gaming and the wheeling and dealing that may occur, someone will be able to identify which master knows of it’s whereabouts through deciphering clues that will lead to the identity of a single master. Timings The weekend will consist of 5 games of Malifaux over the 2 days, finishing mid afternoon on Sunday to allow travel for those that have come a long distance. Friday evening (for those that will come to us for that) will be an opportunity for drinking and boardgames/alternative games. Saturday 0900-0945 – Registration and catch up 1000-1200 – Game 1 1200-1300 Lunch 1315 – 1515 – Game 2 1545 – 1745 – Game 3 Night – heavy drinking and other games Sunday 930 – 1130 – Game 4 1130 – 1230 – Lunch 1300- 1500 – Game 5 1600 – Departure (having tidied up and kissed everyone) I have allowed plenty of time for the games so that it is not pressures and all games can run their full duration. Strats & schemes and special rules will be available on the day. Crew Selection Fixed Master (dual factions must declare) – collected on the day. You can pick any models from the faction/that are available to the master. You have 300 stones for the weekend with each game being a 50ss max game. You will be able to use stones to buy information and clues from other players or try and gain further info through the spies and informants in yellow. Death Tax Any named or unique model that is killed within your games must pay a 5ss death tax to be available for your subsequent games. If you don’t pay, they don’t play. It is possible that you may start to run out of stones. You may field less that 50ss for a game but must field a minimum of 35ss crew for each game. Spend them wisely!! Winning At any point during the weekend, you can submit your pledge for which master you think holds the secret location. The pledge will be marked with the time you submit it. You may only have a single pledge so if you change your mind, you can withdraw and resubmit, and it will be marked with the time again. The winner will be the player who guesses the correct master earliest in the weekend. TO discretion As Spoons is the TO, don’t expect much discretion!! However, also don’t be a dick or you will be punished.

It is with a slightly sad heart that I'm going to sell my Misaki crew. Inspired by House of the Flying Daggers, you won't get another like this! Crew consists of Misaki, Yamaziko, 3 x Torakage, 3 x TT Archers and 3 x Oiran As you can see, Misaki and her Ninjas are based in some bamboo. This is sturdy enough for gaming and they are not display pieces. Will supply M2E cards for all models. Make me an offer.......
