Don't know, but they are probably running the beta. M2e came out around finals so I have been a shut-in for the last couple weeks not able to play. My group and I are planning on playing this Sunday at Other Worlds Games in Hillsdale from around 11 to around 5. We will be trying the beta out for the first time. Any are welcome to join us. We have nearly every available crew for people without models.

Beer-lifaux is every third Saturday starting at 5pm. The community at Guardian for Malifaux, from what I've seen, is pretty limited. Red Castle on Sundays seems to be the most consistent I have seen since the store where I henched closed and the group we had there imploded.

Sunday afternoons at Red Castle Games (64th and Foster) Thursday evenings at Other Worlds Games (Hillsdale) Guardian Games has an event here and there. These are all run by Henchmen that are not me. My store (Knightfall) closed last year and I have been looking for another. My group and I roam between those three stores on random Sundays. Send me a message if you want to schedule a time where we can show you the game.

But, you can hire 6 traps and still have pathfinders and McCabe with their trap stashes intact. Just have to wait for the hired traps to leave before you can deploy them with pathfinder/McCabe.

Ryle can be extremely fragile, but with the Guardians that might not be a huge issue. Santiago might be a good switch out for him. Executioner might also be good if you are playing against a fast melee crew.

This makes me happy. When Sammy survives long enough to do what he is meant to do, it is a thing of beauty.

As far as additional models to buy: Hoff: Warden(s) and an additional Watcher are really good investments, Ryle can also be good in some situations and you will want to get either a Mech Attendant or Mobile Toolkit depending on play style. Clockwork traps (once they are released) could prove to be worth-while as well. Sonnia: Witchling Handler, Nino and/or Santiago Ortega, Executioner, Sue and an Austringer are all good investments. As Hoffman tactica, starting out just tell him to do his absolute best at keeping all of his constructs as close to him as possible, use Machine Puppet on the Peacekeeper a lot and to not be over-aggressive as Hoff has a lot of defensive options and can often allow the enemy to come to him. Take a look at the Protection String mentioned in other posts on here also, it can make a huge difference. Learning and winning with Hoffman can be a little more daunting than the other Guild masters, but definitely worth it.

They're Just Rats doesn't do anything to the summoning of a rat Voracious Rats except for in the case of Hazardous Terrain. If a rat is killed during its activation (which is difficult, but can happen) a new rat appears if the dying rat was within 6" of Hamelin or a Rat Catcher. If a rat is sacrificed no new rat appears.

Yes, the initial duel card gets discarded when you cheat, so you would be able to pick it up. It is every time your opponent plays (cheats) a card. You don't even need to be involved (ie. spell casting)

Don't buy the Hoff's box unless you want to play the Hoff. The Hunter is one of the most useless models in the Guild's lineup. I say all of the above are the best things you could get to expand your list/options.

TedPro is correct. The wagon can ONLY be wounded by melee strikes and spells.

Yeah, the guardian is a great choice to protect Madam Criid, especially if the not-so-good doctor gets in close.

I would say drop the Hunter (useless in my opinion) and grab another Stalker, which will give you two more stones. Sonnia loves her some stones. I would even consider dropped the Exorcist for a Witchling Handler, but I have yet to use an Exorcist against a McMourning crew, so I could be wrong.
