This tournament is basically a Gaining Grounds tournament with a few modifications namely, it is a single master 45 SS tournament. Here are the details: 45 SS Single Master Tournament Date: Saturday, May 10th Location: Huzzah Hobbies: 44927 George Washington Blvd, Ashburn, VA 20147 Entry Entry is $10 for the day, which will go towards prizes. Please pay Brian before entry into the tournament. Models in Beta will not be permitted, waves 1 and 2 are completely legal. Schedule (Rough) 10:30 Registration Begins 11:00 – 12:30 Round 1 (45SS Scrap - Reckoning) 90mins A Line in the Sand (Always Available) Distract Bodyguard Make Them Suffer Entourage 12:30 – 1:30 – Lunch (if everyone is back early, we will start Round 2 earlier) 1:30 – 3:00 Round 2 (45SS Scrap – Reconnoiter) 90mins A Line in the Sand (Always Available) Breakthrough Assassination Power Ritual Take Prisioner 3:15 – 4:45 Round 3 (45SS Scrap – Turf War) 90mins A Line in the Sand (Always Available) Bodyguard Protect Territory Take Prisoner Outflank 5:00 – 6:30 (if needed) Round 4 (45 SS Scrap – Squatter’s Rights) 90 min A Line in the Sand Distract Protect Territory Entourage Vendetta 6:45 Prizes and wrap up Tournament Rules Unless noted below, this Tournament will use the 2014 Gaining Grounds document, with the following exceptions: At check-in, players will declare a Single Master rather than a single Faction The number of Rounds declared above will depend on the number of registered players, as per the Gaining Grounds document: 4-15 – 3 Round Event 16+ - 4 Round Event Each Round will be 90 minutes Models need not be completely painted, however, an effort should be made to play with painted models. Proxies are allowed, provided that they are clearly identified to your opponent prior to the start of the game. All rounds will be played with Standard Deployment Strategy and Scheme pools are fixed as described above. Prizes The prizes are all Gift Certificates to Huzzah Hobbies. They will be handed out in increaments of $5 with no prize being less than $10. Depending on the number of people at the tournament, the exact percentages may vary slightly. 1st Place – 60% 2nd Place – 30% 3rd Place – 10%

This is Brian, to echo what Zephir said. We usually plan on Tuesday nights out at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA. We have a regular group of 3-4 players that occassionally will grow to around 10 players when everyone comes out. We are going to be running a 45SS single master tournament on May 10th. The idea is to support the group that is just getting into Malifaux by limiting it to one master. Keep checking the boards for more info.

We had 10 people join the league on Tuesday! Quite the turnout. There is still plenty of time to come out and join. PM me or stop by the store next Tuesday!

Starting on Tuesday March 18th I will be hosting an Achievement Grow League out of Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA. Registration is whenever you get there and will run the next 6 weeks. You will declare a single master for the duration of the league. Point totals for the games will start at 25 stones and raise 5 stones each week until we cap out at 45. The league will culminate in a single master tournament (more to follow on that). Come out to Huzzah on Tuesday, March 18th to participate.
