  1. Thanks for resolving this query. Apologies - I was looking at a V1 card. No worries if this thread can be deleted.
  2. Nurse's Surgery spell is an (all) one to cast. Yet is also says the Nurse and her target receive Slow whether it is successful or not. But surely she expends all her actions anyway, whether it's successful or not, so why Slow too? I don't think it carries over to the next turn. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Thanks for any thoughts.
  3. McMourning's Master Surgeon action says "You decide if the target heals Wd as normal or suffers that much Dg instead". So you can use it as an attack. Do you know if this means a Red Joker will remove all their Wds rather than healing them all (like a Heal would), thus killing them? My guess is yes. A nasty surprise for an unlucky opponent. FYI it says the target model's controller gets to flip the card. But you can't cheat or use soulstones on healing flips, so I'm not sure why it bothers to specify who does it. Apologies if this ought to be in the rules query section of this forum instead. Thanks for any guidance.
  4. I'm probably being a bit slow here, but I'm still confused. With Driven by Purpose, which of the following two options do you get?: - a 3" push AND +1AP (to use for an extra attack or whatever) when you expend the Wd OR - only the 3" push when you expend the Wd (which would mean it only says +1 to reflect the extra action that is the push). The wording for The Drowned (which is the model I'm actually interested in) has it as follows: (+1) Driven by Purpose. This model suffers 1 Wd. Push this model up to 3". Thanks for any help.
  5. A senior executive at @SyFy on Twitter just accidentally used the term "Teampunk" when (s)he meant Steampunk - then corrected it. But what a great new term to describe Malifaux type games - Teampunk! Just thinking outloud.
  6. I've heard about the new Rulebook 3 character called the Exorcist, who's another anti-undead, anti-spirit person. Mine is a simple question. Why are Guild being loaded up with so many anti-ressurectionist choices? Is balance suffering? I suppose the truthful answer could be that Ressurectionists are pretty good points value and adaptable (through summoning), but balanced out by: - Not being able to shoot glass cannon Neverborn very well - Not being able to get corpse counters from constructs - Suffering to Guild anti-Resser choices. But still sounds like fighting against a crew of Jady Justice, an Exorcist etc would be almost unwinnable.
  7. Welcome! I know a few people play Malifaux in the South London Warlords group who meet in Dulwich every Monday night (except bank holidays and one month near the end of the year - I forget which one). Google them or their event Salute that they run each year. I've got a ton of models for my McMourning side and need to paint them. A few of the models are nice daft proxies. I'm not sure how my guys would deal with your Pandora though. RUn Sebastian up and 'harvest' her for a 4 Wnd area attack? Crooked men and Rotten Belle's lure combo? Hmm. WIth McMourning's 5 Wp I've a horrible feeling you would have him in constant retreat!
