Sorry I didn't get comparison photos yet, this week was crazy. I will try and do it this week.
So I am late with this update because I was at Waaaghpaca! this weekend and I also didn't get a ton painted either because of being there.
I did get these rats done for one of my Jack Vasel Charity Auction listings.
Also, I made a couple new movement trays in preparation for Waaaghpaca!
Onto my Waaaghpaca! experience.
It was a great time as usual, but I forgot to pictures of my games and just have one to share:)
Friday afternoon I got into the Alehouse and played a pickup game against a witch elf army and got rocked, so I was a little worried about how things were going to go on Saturday. I also got a some board games in, but was hoping for some Triumph and Treachery as well, but missed out on that.

First round I got paired up against the handsome man Grant Fetter and his Ogres of Chaos. He told me I had one the game on turn two when he charged into my krox with Forsaken and his Khorne Demon Prince, but only the Demon Prince made it. Turns out I am a whiffasaurus and Grant's Demon Prince lived. I still got one point for not having a super massive loss.
Second round I faced Tim Flanders beautiful Empire army and was able to pull out the win as well as get the bonus point for 5 points. It was the meeting engagement scenario and we both deployed right on the line, but my combat guys turned out to be better than his guys on that day:)
Third round I got Empire again in the from of Zach Shelley's Ulrician themed army. It was a great game and Zach got my favorite opponent vote. We had a real tight fun game, but once again the Krox and Scar Vet proved to be the bane of the Empire. I got the full 5 in this game as well.
That night I got a chance to try out Wild West Exodus with Kevin Bruins. It was a ton of fun and I can't wait to play again and am looking forward to finishing my models even more now.
Round 4 I was up against a real cool bro Stephen Herner with his nasty Skavenses. After turn 1 we both felt like we were losing. I got a fiery convocation off on his Storm Vermin block and took out about half of them. He took out half a block of Krox with his doom wheel and the other krox he got half of with his Hellpit Abomination. I got 7 wounds on this hellpit in the first round of combat, but he saved all but one, then I did 8 the second round and he saved all but 2. It was so crazy how long he lasted and he ended up taking the whole block of krox with him. It was ridiculous. I did end up getting into the bell unit. He had a block of skaven slaves he could have gotten in my way, but I am not sure why he didn't. Anyway, once I got in there I was able to get all 5 pts.
Round 5 was agains Quenting from Leadership 2. He had an all Slannesh Demon army. Mad props for mono god. This was a pretty tight match with some real touch and go moments, but I was able to pick up the full 5 in this game as well. I ended up with 21 battle points and took 22nd overall with my 4-1 record. The Twisted Troop took 3rd in the team battle.
It was another fun Warhammer tourney and I am already looking forward to next year, although I did have to stop on the way home due to weather and get a room for the night. Stupid winter travel:)
