  1. Obvious call back to Clint Eastwoods roles in spaghetti westerns with a twist to include a Bonnie & Clyde who some forget had the last names Parker&Barrows. Overall I am liking the angle of a pure bandit master for Outcasts. It seemed to be a missing wheel in the world. The sculpt is pretty cool, it feels much more spaghetti western which will look great in an array of earth tones.
  2. The story event we are running this month is still getting minor tweeks but has been well received. Our local gamers have previously been adapting malifaux into a 3+ player format, thus we have adapted it into a horde survival horror "Left 4 Dead"-esque story campaign with one player controlling the story driven horde of undead/construct or neverborn minions, common and elite alike. Our first run of the story encounter featured all 4 guild masters against the horde of undead with only their chosen totem for assistance, simultaniously on another table we had another 5 players run all 4 arcanist masters w/ totems against the living dead as well. This week we ran the Neverborn masters against the rise of the constructs, and plan on another mixup monday night.
  3. Last night we had 12+, although some of us spun off to do something else... i expect to see the same on monday night and hope to take a turn running the horde if work allows
  4. Kyle we have already linked this on our norte mexico malifaux faceyspaces group... you may indeed have a few of us making the trip up(still up in the air myself, attempting to start a sunday bloodbowl league this week as well)
  5. Seriously some of the best table terrains in arizona, I dont know if I can make it up but will try.
  6. Could TGN's reporting be taking a hit due to the sites sale to CMoN? I guess time will tell
  7. I assume you are with dusty's crowd out of amazing discoveries... welcome to the forums. If my assumption is wrong, please come down to Hat's Games on friday nights(starts kinda lateish) or Monday nights at Amazing Discoveries for league play. Our local Wyrd Henchman is Jeremy(direhoarcat snuggler on this forum) so feel free to look him up for local stuffs and at theleague nights.
  8. strangely I had this same question this weekend... until now I have been doing it as a replacement effect for placement; but this weekend I keyed in to the "Summon" word as you did, which means "within 6 inches" as you mentioned... Thus I am with your interpretation, it is within 6 inches of the target
  9. failing to stay on task and play the strategys/schemes is the way I most commonly lose. Heck I cant say how many matches I have won with a single model while getting wholesale slaughtered and incapable to do much if any damage at all. So Strat/Schemes are fundamental... As for being out played, or miserable luck... it certainly does happen and when it does it feels really rough. But as with any failure, it is best to learn from it and maintain a cool head. The hardest defeats I feel are the ones where I catch myself using the wrong tool for the wrong job... in example, the only tourney game I lost yesterday was turned when I tried using Sonnia's melee/pistol anti construct triggers against a corophee duet early in the turn. Later in the turn, in desperation it makes sense... but certainly not the way I played it. As for what I always seem to have the greatest challenge playing... Our league here in Tucson has quite a few Collette players, the sheer amount of soulstone users combined with the ease of access to soulstone generation means that often an entire deck of red jokers will still fail against the duel totals you will encounter.
  10. fully agreed on all aspects... Romeo has put together a very welcoming and vibrant store front, and was kind enough to staff it himself yesterday for the majority of the day. I was blown away by his creativity in table top terrain creation, 12 unique modular tables(if memory serves correctly eleven 4x6 and one 4x4) including amazing ideas like a 4x4 "Thunderdome" set, a 4x6 double pirate ship dock/city/outskirts, 4x4 train station, an amazing handmade tattoine/mideast board, some really rad ultra modern for infinity, and a mind blowing modular 40k cityfight table with a fortress endcap. Romeo was indeed an amazing host, very much over and above what we expected. I really do wish we would of had some phoenix competition but it was not in the cards.
  11. 3 1/2 x 5 1/8 user here... laminating may be the next iteration(not due to any failure in the sideloaders, but due to the sheer number of cards I have and the compounded size has out grown my current all in one storage)

Yep Litko, right on the money... I went with the blast but I now see some even nicer ones that were not previously available

Cool link Ratty... personally I use something similar to Gale force 9's fire/explosion markers I cant recall the company that made them but very similar. Anywho I have a set of five 50mm markers have stacked on a post magnetized together that work well with the previously mentioned markers
  14. THIS! Can we put this train back on the tracks? Can we get more details(in condensed form) about the Exorcist and Witchling Handler? I agree that they both seem like great choices, and am looking forward to learning more about them while my own copy of book3 braves its way to me on the back of a snail.
