  1. ...looks AWESOME! Good job! That is all.
  2. I've got a rule book and a handful of miniatures that I've purchased and begun painting from about a year ago. The setting looks awesome and I really enjoy what I've seen from the rulebook, but I've never played a miniature game before. Any experienced players around that demo occasionally in the area?
  3. I've only just started researching the game and reading my rulebook, so a few of the terms of art are lost to me, but your narrative was very compelling! It was interesting, even for someone who doesn't quite understand the game. Yet.

  5. Hello there Chev! I'm actually in Fort Worth, and just picked up the rulebook yesterday. I have a bit of a hectic schedule between school, work, and significant other, and you'd kinda have to..you know...teach me (never played miniatures before), but if you are looking for someone to game with occasionally I'd be willing to learn. -James
  6. I've had an interest in miniatures for quite a while, having always been in their vicinity as a TCG player and comic-book fan, but I've never felt compelled to try it out for myself. There has always been an easier way to get a dose of Sci-Fi or Fantasy without learning the mechanics of a new game. Malifaux looks like a different kind of animal. I came across the rule book a few weeks ago at a local comic shop, and read a few reviews of the game. A few days ago I went ahead and bought the rule book, and so far it sounds very unique. The setting, the mechanics (I like cards!), and the story are an eclectic mix of "western-zombie fueled steampunk six-pistol carrying necromancer sword fighters" that definitely caught my attention. That being said, I have no real experience with miniatures. Do there happen to be any local Texas players? Either way, thanks for reading! -James
