Paypal Only $100 brewmaster box Katanaka sniper Katanaka sniper Lone swordsman Mei Feng box Monks of low River box Shenlong box $65 Pale Rider Perdita box (metal francisco) Sonnia Crid Box
  2. also Hans with Scout the field can one shot the wretch. Until this is fixed in some way it may see play
  3. We've embraced the rat engine for a while now in our local meta. With that said, the ratjoy cruise missile is really where it goes over the top. Killjoy's downside is taking out one model then getting killed. This doesn't happen when the opponent doesn't have any models to activate. I agree limiting it to Hamelin would help but even then there's some serious play with him. Nick and I have been playing around with the idea of Alyce / Desolation Engine with Hamelin. This coupled with the Ratjoy could provide extremely similar results while doing the rat engine better than both the lists above were. TLDR the rat engine itself is good, but coupled with being able to throw multiple 13ss monsters (or viks) in your opponents face on turn 1 with no risk of retaliation on that turn is what I think needs to get looked at.
  4. I think you'll see some amount of wind gamin spam for hunting party. They're still extremely cheap, VERY good at completing many of the schemes/strats and since they dont die until the end of the game if you're careful you can deny all but 1 hunting party point. I've been toying around with Mei Feng, Captian(or langston), Joss, and 5 wind gamin. Also I see soulstone miners becoming much more of a thing. They were already awesome but now they can pop up and help you with a lot of schemes. Inspection, search the ruins, covert breakthrough, setup, public demonstration, and occupy their turf come to mind *braces for WAAC comments*
  5. I've never needed more than two. I also never seem to need more than 8 rats personally.
  6. Unless I'm mistaken the upgrade specifies other merc models, I never take it on hannah due to her great top end damage and mediocre minimum damage. I want her to be able to use I pay better to drop 6/4bb on her activation. I take it religiously on Hamelin since I run him with a lot of mercs (hannah, strongarm, aionus, trappers)
  7. I think if you go that route you're playing a different type of game. I want to make the emissary work for sure but I haven't found the right combo for it that doesn't feel like I'm suffering elsewhere. I'd like to hear what people come up with!
  8. My standard Von Schill loadout is the following: Von Schill, survivalist, oathkeeper, shirt comes off Hannah - oathkeeper, i pay better 2 trappers steam trunk librarian The rest of my list tailors to what the schemes/strats are. It doesn't leave a lot of room but it's a beautiful thing. Key points: 1 trapper is whatever.. two trappers own the board and cripple opponents, especially if you're playing on planet bowling ball (which most tournament tables are) With schills ability to negate terrain when charging whatever the trappers dont cripple him and hannah take care of. My turn 1 usually the crew advances except for trappers who take a double focused shot or if the opponent also has shooting they'll focus, move, then shoot. Turn 2 is trading firepower. With I pay better, you can sit in cover and unless it's Leve or Perdita, you're outshooting them and healing yourself. If they leave an opening for oathkeeper hannah and oathkeeper vonschill I take it, otherwise i cripple further from range and hit hard on turn 3. Hope this helps any von schill enthusiasts; He's an amazing tool to have in your arsenal as his crew puts out an above average amount of damage and are straight up counters to many other crews. With that said I like the internet not liking him, it makes the curb stomping that much sweeter.. bwahwhwha!
  9. I regularly take him, doppleganger and 2-3 gupps in all-comer situations for Lilith and the Dreamer. 1 gupp generally sits with him and doppleganger making scheme markers, he fires 2-3 times (with gator snacky 0) and the doppleganger fires 2-3 times with book trigger, both ignoring cover since that is not a trigger. He's amazing for enemy scheme marker removal as well. With Lilith I run juju to add to the synergy.
  10. pretty much everything that has been said. He's an activation multiplier that can scheme run, heal, and paralyze with some masters. He's not nitched into a single type of situation where the opponent can avoid what he does.
  11. Right? I'm not a fan of the preset vassal boards. I'm thinking of building some generic vassal boards to mimic what you'd see at a tournament. Thanks for the feedback.
  12. It really helps out, Lilith can get pushed 12 inches since he can push then dopple can push. Now she can probably nail a tangled shadows with 1 ap, then have 2 for murdering something.
  13. I run a brutal swamp fiend Lilith crew as well. I run gupps instead of sluirids though, I like that I can kill a cheap model off to unbury Juju if the opponent is playing smart. Depending on the game I'll either run Mctavish and a few less stones, or Mr. Graves for the delicious push shenanigans with him and doppleganger, otherwise McTavish and doppleganger put out fantastic fire support.
