Regarding the new Bury rule that existing effects on buried models will resolve at their usual times: Am I correct that this eliminates the old tactic / exploit of leaving a model buried during the end step to keep buffs from expiring and avoid negative consequences from effects like Burn Out or Massive Dose?

The complication is that the Gamin's Shatter "interrupts" the Emotional Trauma, per the timing rules in the Rules Manual. So if it takes the Wd before she pushes, she would take the Shatter damage.

Since both Fading Memory and Emotional Trauma will be triggered when Pandora wins an opposed WP -> WP duel, does Pandora's player get to pick the order in which the effects resolve? Or does the acting player make the decision? For example, an Ice Gamin loses its last wound by failing the WP duel to target Pandora. Can she push out of there before he explodes? Thanks! Shawn

Hi, If a master has special hiring rules that lets them hire models from outside their faction (such as Undead for Leveticus or M&SU members for Colette), and a qualifying non-faction model has the mercenary attribute, does it still count towards the 2 Merc limit? The Rules Manual seems to indicate that they would: "A crew may include up to two models with the Mercenary characteristic from other Factions." (pp 72.) Thanks, Shawn

10) Will model-producing powers (ie. necromancy, construct building) be as prevalent in PW as in Malifaux?

If an effect specifies the Closing Phase without the specific sub-phase I always presume Resolve Effects. That way it occurs after all Start Closing effects but before the End Closing effects.
