  1. Hi, a timing question. Incorporeal means model is immune to damage during pushes and moves. Lilith's transfixing gaze states that "If this push ends with the target model in base contact with impassable or severe terrain, it suffers damage and gains slow condition." My question is, does Incorporeal "end" as the model reaches it's final position in the push and it still takes damage because damage happens after the push ends/incorporeal no longer takes effect?
  2. Thanks for the examples. I guess I'll know from now!
  3. I was under the impression most cards have it, but I guess I was wrong, even if I still think implying flips is not a brilliant way to communicate them on cards.
  4. Because in every other example I can think of, the word "flip" is present when asking the player to flip?
  5. Hi, i have checked the FAQ, but could not find anything definitive- when Eternal Flame uses it's "Weld Together" action, it says to "discard a card and heal 1/2/3 damage". My question is, is the value of the card discarded deciding the number healed, or should there be a normal healing flip following it, as it's not outright said to "make a healing flip"?
  6. As I finally get to play more than once a year, I have one question that I'd love to make sure I got the right of: I declare charge to enemy model. along the path of that direct movement line, there is another enemy model, 1" away from the path, so when i charge, i get into his engagement range. Does it stop my movement dead in it's track? There shouldn't be any disengage attack since it's a charge, not walk, but do we engage? Second-if I decided to walk to the target, in the same conditions- so 1"/engagement range from my movement path, would the enemy engage me, and force disengage strike when i tried to continue movement for that action?
  7. Seeing his clothes and sword, I'm almost certain he's supposed to be a Skih.
  8. "What's a henchman" is a snarky answer, but more realistically, there's far fewer Henchmen than places, and even if, some people just want to test things for themselves ,not rely on demos by others. Either way, it doesn't invalidate anything I just said- people who play with proxies would not buy into Malifaux anyway, so no profit is lost if they play with proxies.
  9. Let's say I have little interest in Wyrd initially, but get the book and some statcards. I play a game or two, and decide I don't like it. Wyrd lost nothing, as I would not buy the game otherwise anyway. Now, assume I liked the game, but decided to play with whatever proxies...again, Wyrd lost nothing, because I was NOT willing to buy the models in the first place. Now, assume I liked the game, and the aesthetics- I will then buy models, so Wyrd actually gets money from a customer which otherwise would not get into the game. Essentially, you're not selling to people who would not buy anyway, but you're selling to people who were on the fence.
  10. Ignoring the impressive attempt to be offended at a company for giving stuff away for free... FINALLY! It's a great thing, and I am very happy that Wyrd decided to make the move.
  11. It did occur to me halfway through painting! Either that, or she has a fashion doppelganger she just skins when she needs new clothes...
  12. Vallejo model colour magenta, plus pink from the same line on tips, and very thinned out red wash.
  13. After ages spent painting at a snail's pace, I've finally cobbled together the basis of my Neverborn. I still have Tuco, Nekima, the one other young nephilim, and waldgeists in the line. Not to mention the doppelganger and the beckoners. I should be done with Lilith's band by 2017... Anyway, the light isn't amazing, but hope you like them. They're pretty standard tabletop style.
  14. That thing looks rather imposing and in a non-goofy pose, can't wait to see it painted by the talented people around this forum!
